I was a little skeptical before buying it, but figured for $40 and the huge 10"x6.25" drawing surface I'd give it a try.
And it actually works great. Has excellent pen tip sensitivity and is recognized immediately in GIMP. Although, I couldn't get it to work with the 64bit version of GIMP, so I had to revert to the standard 32bit version.

Thanks for the tip! I've been skeptical of trying out I brand I'd never heard of. My sister has been looking for a tablet though and didn't want to front the $200, so she'll be glad to hear this.

Re: The Sun Sets on a Concrete Forest

It really sucks that this has no chance of winning any more - it was the only sure-buy for me out of this week's selection.

*sigh* Oh well. I just hope you submit something equally gorgeous next time that actually gets enough votes.

If it *looks* like a photo was used, they can reject it unless *you* can prove otherwise. They're just trying to protect themselves.

Also, if you didn't use a photo for that image, I'll eat my shoes. :P

Loz, I never said it did not originate from a photo. The design was altered in so many ways, that I doubt anyone could prove which photo or bike was involved. It was a stock image BTW.

Re: Purple Mews

Love the illustrations style, just wish all the hard work you put in stood out a little better. The deep purple gets kind of lost in the black background, but it's still beautiful nonetheless :D

I really like your design. However, the rays from the rising sun (the background reminds me of Japan) can be extended much further. As it is, the design looks boxed in. It bothers me, but you have my vote anyway. I hope I didn't offend you: good luck.

Re: Complementary Mobius

Great job there.
Even if this doesn't make it, it would make an awesome sports logo. I'd actually say that it would probably be better on the back of a jacket.

andy47240 - Thank you very much, I'm glad you like my style
skirochester - Wow, thank you.
chumpmagic - I was thinking about orange and blue first, but I thought a lot of people were going to be doing that combination, so I decided to try out yellow and purple and ended up really liking it. But thank you very much for your input! And for voting for it too!
bootsboots - Oh, thank you~
midgerock - Thank you! I don't know if it could be the shirt color or the color combination, or those 2 things combined, or maybe neither. You never know what will fly around here. Thanks again though, I appreciate the support.

Re: Yellow Moon

This by far the coolest design in the contest. It won't win at this point, but here's hoping for an honorable mention and inclusion in the next second chance run.
