That sucks. You did such a great job of capturing that guy with your style. It pretty darn dead-on and looks great!

And I agree with styles' comment above.

He probably already hit the bong and is pondering the cosmic awesomeness that is the maze of life. Then he'd get side tracked by the vegan burger joint behind him and realize that he's just really hungry.

Good Idea, but yeah... you need a start and finish point. Also, it would be better to call it MAIZE (which is Indian for Corn!) ^_^

you cannot vote until you purchase one item from woot.com, shirt.woot.com, et cetera. after you have done that, then you can vote as many times as you'd like.

Character likeness I agree but celebrity likeness?

You are arguing that you would have drawn Milton the same way if he'd been played by Jim Carey?

The way the character looked is based on the celebrity who played him. The poker design is a parody, hence governed by different rules.

My speech is not splitting. I am speaking in Cthulhu.

If you were an actress and played Juliet on stage and your mom took a picture of you onstage in costume, it's still a picture of you. Even if you don't normally look like that.

You are wrong. you got away with it with that Jon Goodman shirt. I'm very glad that you did not get away with it again. Please draw your own characters.

Re: As Fast As Lightning

It doesn't even have to be a lighting bolt tail like Pikachu's. Just kink a regular mouse's tail into a zig-zag and the joke/parody will still work.

Resub!

Hey Cha-chi, the Goodman shirt your referring to is Megsk not mine. Plus there's a vast difference between a photograph and a cartoon of a cartooned character played by an actor.

Also, I do draw all my own characters. So I don't appreciate the comment that I do otherwise. This is my cartoon design of Milton character.

There's some nice attention to detail here; the corrugated cardboard, and the essential smell of cheese to coax the mouse through the maze. That's one crafty cat. ^_^

Your layout and color choices are spot-on here, chumpmagic. It's a really confident design, and fun to look at!

(I can't imagine there'd be any issue with the theme, it's clearly a maze puzzle book.)

My mistake. There is a difference, but the fact remains that the character would not have looked like that unless the actor did. I think Mavyn's Jim Carey point is entirely spot on.

Re: Path to the Princess

The triforce-type symbol isn't copyrighted (see here). It's an old, traditional Japanese emblem used on a particular family shrine for instance. I'm sure it's had many other uses too.

It -is- most recognisable as a Zelda symbol, and maybe in the absence of parody Woot would be reluctant to print this, but the symbol itself shouldn't be a problem, Mr Rejectionator.
