I'm not sure how effective the shirt is without the clever title.

Please, no. No no no. This is one of his better designs, precisely because of the marshmallow and its chocolate shield. The dragon is par for the course RamyB schtick. The marshmallow guy adds a lot of charm.

The Fellowship of the Ring of Ashes.
A cool spin on a familiar tale Patrick. Really like the glowing cracks in the creature's skin.

I like the look and idea, but is that gradients? Kinda looks that way, should post some halftone close ups, Quick, before it gets rejected.

Re: Bebe Burp

I like it. You can take a quick glance at it and get the joke without any sort of backstory. A lot of my Woot shirts take far too much explaining before people understand what's going on.

Plus I'm a sucker for cutely drawn dragons.

Very cool. The shadowing and falling of the light on the rest of the firefly looks neat.

I like the idea and I love your style, but the illustration looks poor, like you didn't really put a lot into this one. Not that I would blame you if that's the case as I would be surprised to see you win another derby.

That's his style. I like this design very much, but... white shirt.

chumpmagic wrote:I think this design would look a lot better if the flame circled/wrapped/ looped around the Marshmallow instead of going under the marshmallow and folding back on itself.

If you look closely, it actually does. I had originally planned to make it more obvious, but the white color of the marshmallow makes it very strange to position the fire in front of it because it gives a contruction paper feel to it instead of the bright glowing look that I think fire should have, so I just put a hint of it on each side (on the marshmallow's body and a bit across in front of the chocolate).

Thanks everyone for the kind words on the design

I think it's obvious that it's Smokey. That's certainly not the problem. But people would assume it's funny because Smokey is starting a fire and not realize why -- economic problems and such that the clever title suggests so well.

To true, quite valid point. Either way its a funny concept; starting fires to keep working or starting fires because you promote prevention.

Thanks for checking back.
