I really like this design, especially the non-literal use of coloring and curved lines in the goldfish to represent fire. The spilled-water provides a nice color and elemental contrast as well.

Those are halftones, not gradients. I converted them in Photoshop. I will resub with a close-up of the details.

blammoed, thank you for the kind words. it was kinda painful to burn out 1/2 the trees like that, looked nicer full & green

I can't tell if the colors are wonky at this time (need my other laptop). So for now, I'll settle for you kindly folks lettin' me know if something looks off.

Also, I greatly dislike 'Grease'. If only all that combing had generated enough spark to catch the whole movie on fire...

thank you, I do agree, I think this one turned out Muuuch better. There was a halftone lesson I got from one of the woot users almost right after making it the first time, then I knew what to do right.

I agree, it would look better if the heart were in smoke and the people were made of flames. It's a neat shirt, it kinda reminds me of one that was done a while back with rain drops.

No I understand, It's obviously his style. But if you look at just about every other design he has up on the web you will see a distinct lack of polish on this compared to the rest. As someone else said, he's done cleaner work, in fact most all of his other work I've seen.

So kawaii. Cute little animals in a cute little forest with a cute little dragon. Irresistable.

My only point of contention is that when I showed my significant other, he insisted that the dragon passed firey flatulence because of the starry pattern under his cute little behind, despite the clear clue from the dragon's cute little nostril indicating smoke.

Could you clear this up for this cute little significant other?
