I would buy this shirt solely for the ability to utilize the "I have uranus on my shirt" jokes.

The fact that it's flat-out gorgeous is an added benefit

congrats on a great and well deserved derby win, littleclyde!

Yea, it's not like some old scientists went out in the middle of the night with a bag of bricks and did away with the old girl.

If you are super attached to pluto, think of it this way: It's a trail blazer! It was too special to be contained within the planets category, so a whole new one was needed!

I think re-categorizing Pluto was much better than having to add more planets.

This design must have truly aligned the planets... I have never instantly bought a Woot design so fast.

Anyone have any idea about how big the plant twinkles/glowing stars will print on the shirt? Might be embedding wearable LED lights into mine...

It doesn't make sense to me how "scientists" can just up and say, "oh, btw, Pluto's not a planet anymore by our standards. lol!" Who made them in charge? Just like the, "oh...we discovered a new astrological symbol! Harharhar!"

Well, I say Pluto's a planet and the newest symbol is called "Circumfereus" and the constalation is in the shape of pi...how 'bout them apples?

LOVE THIS SHIRT (minus the no Pluto thing)

I would so like this design in a lamp. Great, great idea.

And the shirt? Just add to the general praise, please. It's luminous.

Clever design, and the colors look great on asphalt. Even though I own multiple asphalt shirts, I can't resist this one. Purchased.

It's not too often that the shirts I vote for actually win. So, in for one.

And while I miss Pluto as a planet, I'm quite amused by the fact that it's still in the design.

Great job littleclyde!

I agree 100%! I REALLY want to buy it, and I'm going to, though I wish the shirt color was something other than asphalt. (Only because almost all of my shirts are black or asphalt, lol.) Do I have a better color suggestion? err, umm, no.

Excellent job littleclyde!! I have to agree with the others who said the off-center print is brilliant.

DennieB wrote:ENOUGH already of these artsy-fartsy t-shirts. I'm sick of going to shirt.woot and finding some shirt titled 'evening mist' or 'the star within'... you get the gist. Something my 55 year old aunt who is into gardening, meditating, and cleanses would wear to her man-haters club.

Come and create those shirts that make you laugh because of how clever they are. All I am left to buy are the nerd shirts anymore. My first and favorite woot shirt: “Curious Little Turtle“... now that shirt was awesome. There was a cool turtle with an awesome grenade and the punch line was the grenade pin in his other hand.

Now come of you designers... I want more from you please.

This post is pretty damn silly. This shirt has a pretty, very wearable image. That makes it "artsy fartsy?" Really? What the hell does that even mean? Anything with a nice image on it?

And did you really use the phrase artsy fartsy? Come on now, we're not in kindergarten

For all it's worth, I'm a 23 year old guy and I bought one. If that means I have to join a man-haters gardening club now, sign me up. Otherwise, please don't be so damn generalizing just because this shirt isn't to your taste. It's still a great shirt.

Precisely my point. Not everyone has to like this shirt, but to say that it's only wearable for 50 year old women, based on the logic that it's "artsy fartsy" is indefensibly silly.

I just wanted to point out that I appreciate the R.E.M. reference. Gardening at Night is from their original EP, but was remixed with new drums and vocals for their Eponymous "greatest hits until '87" album. I like the falsetto-osity of the old one, but I prefer the '87 one.
Great Song. Great Shirt
