Re: Feeling Lower than Dirt
You have a good feel for horticulture. Oh, and a cute shirt.
Re: the fourth evil
Scanning are derby thread, i saw a sketch with the fourth monk partially cut off and was afraid. Whew! funny, and more harmless than i'd feared.
Re: Incognito
saw this coming a mile a way, but - YEAH. the execution really makes this work.
lilaviel wrote:Howcome so many cute shirt designs have to be on BROWN? It's an awful color. I've got nothing against the design.. I love it. But if it prints I won't buy it b/c the shirt's brown.
Brown is a great color for this design. It's on brown because Boots no doubt thought it was a good color for this design. This is silliness. Artists don't make their shirt color choices at random or at the whims of picky customers.
Re: Predator
And THAT, my friends, is how you fight a kite. Nice!
Re: Odd Ball
Lol! This thought came to mind, but I couldn't figure how to make it work. Great job!

Hmm too right you are, can't believe I missed that. Guess I'll have to turn in my library card and go back to the remedial reading group. I do wish the derby would have clarified that in the opening post more thoroughly though, as I thought the exact "one of these things is not like the other" was just a suggestion on how to make something odd stand out MORE. Oh well, not like I'm getting much love with this idea anyway. Guess I'll just wait to see if they reject it while I whittle away on a resub. Thanks for the heads up though jeanerz13, cheers!
Re: BAD MOTHERDUCKER
Awesome. This has my vote, and I'll vote for Duck and cover when you sub it. SOMEDAY I'll get my damned duck shirt!

Good luck! Didn't mean to be a downer by pointing that out, but hopefully now you have time to get it reworked
Re: Acquired Taste
I promise to buy two. One for me, and the other for a zombie-obsessed friend.
Re: Self-Expression
THE best expression of the theme. Except maybe one of the Edgars. Or a tie. At least a tie.
Re: Cyclops Had an Unfortunate Name
Parents should really think before naming their kids. 6 colors on navy with 30 dpi halftones
Re: Baa Baa Bad Sheep
Just literally laughed out loud... I seem to have a thing for grass shirts
Really is Gorgeous. Reminds me of Reading Rainbow ... but for art ;)
Re: The Bus Stop
This turned out really great--I really like the change you made from the pre-derby thread. The pig in the bag makes the story much more interesting!
Re: Self Portrait
If this won I would buy my first woot shirt.

::chuckles:: You're not a downer dear, and there's no worries here. Heck, if my ego couldn't take someone pointing out a simple lack of deductive reading on my part, I think I'd have bigger worries to address.
Re: 3D Movies Are Not For Everyone
Lol! That's pretty funny.
Re: You Weren't Invited
Now that is a happy dog!
Re: AHH it's a mutant!

Re: Poo-too-weet

Re: just us wolves here.......

Re: happiness

ceinwyn24 wrote:I would like to thank my girlfriend for getting me a wacom pen

Thank you! I was trying to make something a little more kid friendly this time around. ^_^
Would buy this shirt in an instant, I really think this deserves to win and thought it would when it was in the fog. Hopefully your shirt shows up somewhere else, because it surely does deserve to.

Re: The Black Sheep
Nice composition. You've done an excellent job creating depth.
midgerock wrote:I kind of wish you did the whole lion instead of just a disembodied head. Maybe having it licking itself but stopped mid-lick and looking at the other cats maybe even including one of the other cats scared or full of bravado.
paigeg wrote:I'll second midge's comment. And, er - is that a leg? Lol!
Thanks. Part of me also wanted to do the whole lion, but the lion's head actually took quite a while to draw (no thanks to Gimp deciding to crash at random moments). In retrospect, I probably should have done a pencil drawing of the entire lion on one sheet of paper and then the smaller cats on a separate piece, then figured out how to combine them on a T-shirt. And yes, that's a leg. That's why the lion isn't licking itself. *g*
Shame that this slipped out of the fog.
Re: Something's Fishy
She's a very sweet girl, really.
Re: Sticking Out
Awwwwwwwwwwww. I want my hedgie back! I might get this shirt when it prints in honor of her
paigeg wrote:Off-theme, but cute as hell.
thanks...:P it's my second try at this...
hehehe this reminds me of an episode of Family Guy...It's part of the Stewie kills Lois / Lois kills Stewie thing
Re: Bears and the Bare
armpit hair....ewwwwwww lol
Re: Baaaaarains
Zombie sheep! 5 colors on Kelly Green. First entry, so any tips welcomed. Also, where are you lovely artists getting those nice, realistic, wrinkled shirt templates?
Love the colors, shirt color and composition! Great work last week (hoping for toucan tonight), and this week too - love your prettier designs on non-dark shirts.

With a shirtless Bertrand Russell holding up the turtles. I think the hiding turtle needs work, otherwise cute as always.
