Re: The Vinyl Four
So that's how the final four records in existence have been spending their time. Sit down, relax and enjoy the gentle musings of the famous barbershop quartet, "The Vinyl Four."
Re: Uncompressed
Uncompressed. Went simple and graphic this week. Hope you enjoy.
Re: Mine is the last voice you will ever hear
For some reason, I was inspired by the concept of "cassingles" -- those short-lived, short-playing cassettes that would just have a song or two. Not that a cassingle is going to look any different than any other cassette. The title comes from a line in a song from the first cassingle I ever bought.
Re: The Comeback
The Comeback.
Re: Boogie Nights

Back in the Day...
Re: you spin me right round
A doodle tribute to retro audio. Seemed fitting to create it in a way that I assume they used back then, so it was almost entirely hand drawn on paper and just colored in photoshop. Two colors on an asphalt tee. Here is a closeup of the halftones:
Re: Star trails remix
Love it! GMV
Re: Gonna recommend you to the Spirit in the Sky
Since much of this analog media had it's heyday in the '60s and '70s, I wanted to draw something that felt at home in the past.
Star trails, that's really clever Budi!
Re: Be Kind, Rewind

Re: attic party!
thanks for looookingggg...
I am a fan of this. ^_^ Great colors and very Bootsian.
Ha! GMV! The joke is on the cassette though, after eating the iPod, its' tape is going to be all knotted and tangled. New tech still wins!

Re: You spin me right round
really love the treatment on this, awesome job lucky! i can love penguins again. ^_^
I can't tell you how many times I've seen dead cassettes on the road during the 90's. Seems like there was one each week- a tape that was listened to, loved, then broke. Nothing to do but chuck it out the window... Sad...
Re: Party Mix
this is obviously a beastie boys mix tape.
I like his tongue!
i like your style and your colors and your ghost. ^_^

yes, you deserve it! =) this looks great!
Very cool, I would buy this.
It's a simple story of boy meets girl, or cassette meets compact Disc, and they fall in love only to find out that their parents are in a feud with one another over superiority. It is quite the predicament for this unusual companionship.
Awesome work, lucky. Love the sketchiness and that tartan (sorry, plaid) scarf!
