kylemittskus wrote:There was a very academic (and literature based!!!) conversation about the meaning in the original thread which I too many cookies to look for. Anyone want to help a brotha out?

Here is bluejester's interpretation:

It's actually cool, artsy and brilliant all at once, but I didn't get it at first blush either, here is my attempt to break it down.

Every living thing in this design has a colored beam of light by it. The bird, the girl, the cat, even the bug has a distinct color shining in it. However, the bug and the cat are sedintary and the girl--who should be active and involved in life--is playing with the non-living electronic thing. But the robot, who apparently has no unique color because he is not "alive" is taking in the moment and admiring the bird, which is also the only other active "living" thing in this piece. (It beautifully contrats the girl's lack of taking part in life)

It's a bit of a heady shirt if my interpretation is right. It is totally on theme, and I will totally buy this and frame it if it wins.

Megsck, this is stamped with such a distinctive style that you have pulled off so well. This doesn't get my vote because I know the perfect occasion to wear it, but because I like the thought of getting it and then finding excuses to wear it.

Re: This goes to ELEVEN v2

Spinal Tap: This is very special, because, as you can see, the numbers all go to 11.
Right across the board. 11. 11. 11.

Meathead: Oh, I see And most of the amps go up to 10

Spinal Tap Exactly

Meathead, Does that mean it is louder? Is it go any louder?

Spinal Tap: Well. It's one louder. Isn't it? It's not 10. You see, most, most Blokes are going to be playing at 10. You're on ten here. All the way up, all the way up.

Meathead Yeah

Spinal Tap: All the way up. You're on 10 on your guitar. Where can you go from there? Where?

Meathead: I don't know.

Spinal Tap: Nowhere. Exactly.
What we do, is if we need that extra push, over the cliff, you know what we do?

Meathead: Put it up to 11.

Spinal Tap: 11. Exactly. One louder.

Meathead Why don't you make 10 louder, and make 10 be the top # and make that a little louder?

Spinal Tap: (pause)

These go to 11

WE LURV YOU TOO! Dork!!!
No greater love is lost than that not shared.
