Robots do not have pilots strictly speaking.

If I were to ask you to describe what 'mecha' means, the first words out of your mouth would most likely be "giant robots". Thus, I think we're good here. Robot is an incredebly broad term, that spans from free ranging science fiction creations to machines programmed for a single task to mechanical arms used in surgery and controlled in real time from another room. If you want to get really technical, it's not clear from the design if she's riding or piloting the thing. All in all, I don't think there's really ground for contention here.

Thanks. I thought about that, but I didn't know how to balance them in size with the rest of the items.

I would agree, but if Robbie's robot get's printed (which I hope it does) and the wind up robot sees it's first print, then I'm going to potentially be out of some cash.

Regardless, I hope to see this print.

Thanks for looking at our design. It's what happens after watching too much Eva, TTGL, and Gunbuster/Diebuster!

j5 - Honestly, I have no idea. I don't know Ramy at all and Ramy hasn't posted on this design as of yet at least. I hope Ramy knows this is in good fun.

I am color deficient and can't tell if this design is on navy or asphalt. A little help? I love it but I really don't like asphalt tees :/

sorry chump, I really wanted this to print, there is just something appealing about the robot. Better luck next design.

Re: Stop the Melting!

I thought it was because of the shadowy robot. I still am not sure if it's part of the shirt design or just you being "artistic". I think you may find you get rejected again since the grayscale robot isn't part of the shirt design but seems to be part of the design - though I am not sure why.

i am c0nfus3d about what will and won't be part of the final shirt design if i vote. it's a nice graphic just not clearly represented.

I think it's made clear by the t-shirt representation that there will be no shadowed robot.

That being said, I cringe at the orange parasol. It doesn't make any sense. White ice reflects more heat than orange...metal? I assume it's metal. Bah, too nerdy for this shirt.

I am now able to show a bigger picture for this shirt. It didn't help that I was out of town for the weekend, but if you like the shirt it will shoot to the top no matter how much time is left, right?
I do hope you enjoy this though.

too nerdy? have you ever walked barefoot on a white sand beach? as a matter of practicality, shade is cooler than full sun. ice on a shaded sidewalk will melt more slowly than that in full sun. ever felt your white car hood after parking in the sun for the afternoon? you must confine yourself to your lab full-time - maybe you should get out more. a parasol is just the ticket to provide shade and give that poor robot a little relief from the sun. and, orange is a very nice counter to the grey/black/white color scheme.

I suspect it will look pretty wonky. Still got time? Resub on another color. Id'd also say lose the silver ink, but that's JMO - I don't think anyone should be using it. It looks cheesy to me.

So I went ahead and took your advice. Thanks!! I think version 2.0 is muuuch better!

I want this shirt.

Anyone else notice that the shirt image doesn't match the design detail? The detail has a white line on the arm that extends past the linework, which is not seen on the shirt image.

Re: Terran Final Defense System

I'm not an anime fan, so I don't know the references. But I did do some quick checking up on Gurren Lagann, and this doesn't looki in danger of violating any copyrights.
I really like the attention to detail, the star-clustering, and especially the city lights on Earth. A little disappointed that the two sides of flames are mirrored - though it does look like to did make an effort to modify one side so they were directly mirror-imaged. Not my kind of thing, but nicely done.
