As a member of PETP (People for the Ethical Treatment of Pluto) I would like to formally protest this shirt. You see, Pluto has feelings just like you or I, and it was mercilessly cut from the line-up of planets by rather rude scientists claiming it was a mere chunk of ice. Such comments and actions have hurt poor Pluto beyond what words can describe.

I'm sure that you too will join with me in boycotting this shirt as it continues the ongoing falsehood that Pluto is not a planet, and therefore has no feelings.

This shirt causes me to remember that Pluto is no longer a planet.

This still saddens me.

I concur. I would also like to protest woot's history of printing shirts that depict Pluto as a second-class citizen.

Needs more rings. Saturn isn't the only one, it just has better pr. Planets actually look pretty peaceful floating up there.

I looked at it super closely--you can say they are in order if you overlook the sizes (Mercury and Venus would be wrong) and say they're going backwards left to right as Uranus, Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, Earth, Venus, Mercury then Neptune. Still wonky, though.

To be fair to the designer, to be scientifically accurate, if Pluto was there, there'd have to be a crapload of other other dwarf planets as well.

Our fuzzy-feeling attachment to Pluto doesn't mask the classification conundrum that we were facing.
