I didn't know what "Cthulhu" was so I looked it up and came across this:

Perhaps it was the artists inspiration? If so, I appreciate the rendition and the box makes a bit more sense, although I'd rather do without the rigid enclosure. The hard lines detract from the organic quality of the drawing... But that's just my opinion.

Maybe if you did a re-sub of this with more of woodcut style to the hard lines...?

Am I the only one who can't see this clearly? Dark shirt, thin black lines...not great. Sorry. That's not a comment on the design, just the contrast is too low to see.

Re: STOP THE IMPOSTER!

I'm not a designer, I buy shirts I like once in a while, I sometimes vote for a shirt with no intention of buying it, just because I like the design or want to encourage the artist, or it's great, but not suitable for me. That said I'm adding my 2 cents just to say that it is Woot's duty to investigate any allegations of cheating (alt accts and the like) AND take punitive actions if called for or repeated. Honesty in this competitive process is vital to the health of the competition and the long term health and well being of this website.

A bandolier of carrots would be appreciated about now

Ok. First, I rescue rabbits. I have a lot of rabbit shirts but this is AWESOME!! I'll take 3 for myself. And then I will probably invest in 10 more to sell to other rabbit people I know. If that is allowed. Thank you very much for drawing this.

Diana, I love your stuff normally. But, this design just makes me think he's showing off his abnormally large single testicle. I can't get past that! ARGH! I know it's not what you meant though!

Re: I'm Awake!!

The box really isn't supposed to make sense or not. When I started sketching, I didn't realize what I was actually going to draw. When the sea monster started coming out of the tip of my pencil... it was too late and the edge of the paper had come up... Had I actually planned what I was going to draw before I started doodling, there definitely wouldn't be a box. But since the sea monster isn't complete, I boxed it off.... Like I said before, next time this drawing is entered, it'll be super awesome! :D
