Congrats to amreli! Oh, and you too, crapface!

There's something so cathartic in typing that last part.

I woot, therefore I am.

Congratulations to the winner, personally I am not too excited for this design but hope you sell out!

Wow this one got a ton of votes considering how late it went into the fog. Congrats amreli!

Hi, amreli. Welcome to Woot. Very nice start.

While I like the design and the geeky aspect of it, my lack of understanding will prevent me from buying it. I hope one of the two I really wanted makes it to third but I'm not too confident right now...

Co sign! (see what I did there, Woot mod?)

Imposter Pete was Unprepared for the Almost Human Nightmare Cuckoo Clock. The Walrus and Eggmen were the Height of Envy at the Monkey Bar. See the DJ spinning records on a Flora Phonograph while simultaneously playing Rock, Paper, Scissorhold.

As a physics major, I think I'm pretty much obligated to buy this shirt.

I really hope someone "got" my reference. It's the genius of Larry David in "Curb Your Enthusiasm."

Now you know. Awesome design.

I'm Bryan. Nice to meet you, Wooter.

I'd buy it, but I'm afraid of having to explain it. "Herp derp, what's that shirt mean?" "Uhhh..."

I woot, therefore I am.

LOL!! Good times, good times...

My username didn't change to jimp for my birthday, but I understand. Thanks, we're good!

Today someone asked "what's new". I replied "c over lambda". I received a blank stare. Woot, thank you for restoring my faith in humanity and helping me get my freq on.

While wearing this shirt, I would expect people to ask me: "what's your sine?"

I'd like this more if the short wavelength wave was blue and the long wavelength red.

This shirt makes me wish I paid more attention in physics class. Thank goodness I paid attention in awesome-shirt-buying class, at least.

Never in my life have I felt so daft. If this was an elementary school science fair project, I am clearly not smarter than a fifth grader.

Even with honors physics under my belt...this is completely escaping me.

\me hangs head in shame.

Nevertheless, congrats on the win!

sykotek

I can't say that I've been to many science fairs, but if they're actually teaching this stuff in middle school, we have absolutely no worries about the future of America.

I'm also not really sure why the little pole vaulting fella is attempting to jump over a canyon to get to a horse, but I know Ken only needs to shoot his fireball straight forward to hit M.Bison, really, it's not like he can change the direction of his fireballs anyways.

Confused? Yea, me too, on why today's shirt isn't CATerpillar. Hopefully tomorrow.

yea.. I was hoping this won.. The nerd in me rejoices. Plus I live right outside of Durham in Chapel Hill, so I have to support local artists right? yup I have totally rationalized buying yet another woot shirt. I am in for one!

As a physics major it should bother you that the longer wavelengths are more blue than the short ones.

But the design is pretty :D

laughlax

quality posts: 1 Private Messages laughlax

I dunno, I think wearing all these waves together might make you a bit of a square...

[let's see if anyone gets it]

[Edit: Whoops, not square. more like sawtooth. Just what I get for trying to be witty.]

I work at a company that is a major manufacturer of oscilloscopes, function generators, and lasers. Waves are everything here.

My colleagues are going to Battlefield Earth (2000) themselves when I walk in with this on. That is, unless they all walk in with it too....

(Battlefield Earth (2000) = stuff that comes out of your butt)

I brought that up in the derby, but apparently the artist was going for sound waves, not light waves.
