That's funny, because I think it turned out kind of similar to your style. It's the oblong head, I think. You like yourself!

nothing here is a vectoe, buddy. i did this all by myself. maybe ask me first next time before judging me.
Re: Two Queens
Very pretty... it reminds me of the Tales from Wonderland comics :D I like the skirts on them!
Re: King of the Hill
That's some classic Boots isht. +1
Well now I just feel bad for the hill. Love your style, Boots.
Re: royal knightmare
I really think this is quite clever. Don't give up on this one!
Re: I am King of You!
The eyes on the planet are a nice touch. Super cute.
Wizzr wrote:Thanks, good luck with the design. I love the Kraken shirt, waiting for it to come in the mail.
Thanks dude!
Re: The Fisher King
Really nice!
Re: off with his scoop!
You have the chocolate hood, the popsicle scepter, and the crown even has a cherry on top! Always a fan of your work, and this is one of the best scenarios I've seen you do so far.
This reminds me of the famous Bruce Lee quote "...board not hit back". Easy to conquer indeed. +1 Internets to fair lady.
kushalm wrote:I always fail to demarcate the pop culture limits but don't fairy tales fall under pop culture as well??
Think of it this way: if the category on Jeopardy! was "Pop Culture" would they have a question/answer about King Arthur? No, if they did, it'd be under "Literature" or "Fact or Fiction?" or something.
cmdixon2 wrote:I love the stance of the pawn. And your technique for metal textures is amazing. I see a print in your future with this one.
That's what I meant by shiny.... just to clarify.
Re: Storybook Castle
This would be fantastic for pajamas. I like it.
Re: And then they kissed.
here's another design. This one was an older design probably one of the first I ever tried doing when the idea of subbing here started for me. I had tried to sub as a daily with no interest and reworked it and subbed it for the derby this week. I hope dig on it. And if you have any crits or feedback please feel free to share. If this designs not your cup of tee tried checking the other designs I subbed this week, links to which can be found in my signature. and here's a link to a 16x20 jpeg of the design.

It's a comment on global warming. Sad & sweet.
Re: Royally Screw'd
Nice to see to shoot up there. Simple, to the point, very wearable. GMV.
Re: Goodbye, My Kingdom
This is touching. A subtle yet powerful message. I love it.
Re: Sacrifice
Want, want, want!
DivineAna wrote:Um... and that's not a pop culture reference...?
It's not even attempting to NOT be a pop culture reference. :\ http://www.in70mm.com/news/2002/lion_king/images/simba.jpg
Re: Seven Princesses
This is great! It's so nice to see a shirt that's more than just a picture smacked in the center of a shirt.
I like a lot of patrickspens' shirts, but I hope this one doesn't print. There are so many great shirts this derby, actual wearable shirts. Sometimes patrickspens shirts come off as anime-store T-Shirts where it's essentially a poster smacked on a t-shirt. Brown, really? Brown for this? I think the brown looks pretty bad, and the design gets so close to the neck. Would YOU wear this shirt, patrickspens?
Re: End of the Line
This is a riot!!!
Re: Hey look! A rat wearing a crown and a guitar!
So I went to Lowe's and got a ladder, came back and you guys gave me 15 more votes. Hell yeah!
That poor hill looks oppressed.
Re: King Me!
Second week in a row with an excellent design. Good job, I think your work has really been improving (or at least you have a better sense of what appeals to the Woot crowd!). Loving the expressions on the black checkers faces.
That's awesome. I love the little speech bubble.

This is my first woot design, I hope you guys enjoy it, and thanks for the votes! Close-up of the halftone:
Re: chop it down
The beard makes the shirt awesome, let alone the fact that its an Edgar original. Oh Edgar, your imagination must be one f*cked up place to explore. Don't stop wondering within it's depths.
Spiritgreen wrote:Sweet design, Naolito! Big +1
Yep, that about sums it up.
You do very nice work bootsboots. I think the sun is my favorite part.
I don't get why the pawns are purple. It seems like a odd color. I'd like it a lot more if the pawns were black or white.
This is great all the way down to the details, such as the Knight and Pawn being correctly positioned for the Knight to take out the pawn on the next move. Good job.
Re: Tiara
Simple and pretty.
julejules wrote:Wow. Amazing. I keep coming back to the page to look at it again. I don't know if I'd want it on a shirt, but if it prints I'd buy it. I don't think I could resist. Good job.
Welll...you can always take the shirt, put it on a backing, and frame it, lol.
studio1172 wrote:In the real world the fish would never look him in the face. OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!
I concur! Sigh. It was fun being in the fog while it lasted. But as the only non-halftoned design, it was inevitable that it would not last. I appreciate all the great comments on this design- it was a lot of fun in the making, which is what counts most.
Re: Royally Betrayed
this is great artwork!
Re: Regicide
This is hilarious. Though I wouldn't want to wear it in that I would prolly get beaten up by jocks.
CrystallineX wrote:Your portrayal of the Indian variety looks rather tribal, like with facepaint. Nevertheless, G'job ^^
looks about right.
aliceinwootland wrote:Would YOU wear this shirt, patrickspens?
I would.
Re: Tyrant Lizard King
There is so much right about this design. Good color choice and love the feathered dino; would get this in a heartbeat.
