Re: One In A Million
It's a clever idea, but the dark frogs are too dark to be discernable on computer screens so it will likey be hard to tell that there are dark frogs there in real life as well. Still, neat little idea though.

This! Stunning design Patrick, but I feel this is less wearable than your past entries.
Re: The Earl of Sammich
I will own if printed, and wear this shirt while playing as the Heavy in Team Fortress 2.
OH SANDVICH!!! Delicious and noble.
Re: The Princess and the Menagerie
I cant unsee the Beaver doing nasty things to that bear!
Otherwise, this looks great
Re: King Me!
really cool design, but that animated "vote" is abit annoying
This is fabulous. I hope it prints!
Re: Kingfisher rules over the fishes
Skek, nice final product. Got my vote for the Kingfisher!
Re: off with his scoop!
Wow, nice turn from last night!
Looks great, even with the 3 scooper.
Love this one so much! Wish I could vote more than once :D
Re: Royal Jelly
Looks Great! Keep it up!
Re: Making Money
The texture on that leaf is extremely well done! This looks great!
Re: Checkmate! Or: Royal Disorder
My first time using gradients. Hope you like it!
Try to add some more definition to the Bannanas, sorta looks like he's just sitting on a hill very disgruntled.
Great work midge. I love kickass designs!
Re: The New King
I was confused about how this was a pop culture reference, but I see it now. Too bad, too.
lkackman wrote:This! Stunning design Patrick, but I feel this is less wearable than your past entries.
Funny, because I'd be more inclined to wear this than some of his other entries. To each his/her own, I guess.
Very well done, sir. This is extremely clean! I really enjoy that character too.
uniique wrote:really cool design, but that animated "vote" is abit annoying
Agreed on both counts. Still got my vote, however.

Re: top dog (try 2)
Ah, King Spike. Interesting that bulldogs are anecdotally well known for loving kittens. AND NOT TO EAT.
Re: Loyal Followers
very cool! You did a great job separating the foreground and background elements. You've really taken it up a notch from the WIP thead, a while back.
Re: Goodbye, My Kingdom
This is sweet and sad...
Re: Two Queens
I dig this, but it's most certainly skewed fem.

I wasn't going to say that... but yeah I can't either. Bad beaver!
The penguin! It's Mumbles! pop culture reference!
Nice design. gmv
Re: Emperor Penguin
This is one of my first attempts at working in Illustrator. I'd really appreciate any feedback or tips. Thanks
Re: Crayon's Crowning
This is only funny if you live in an area where people pronounce Crayon as "crown" - for whatever reason... But luckily I live in one of those areas, so I'm voting yes!

I knew I was missing some kind of joke, here. Where do they call it a "Crown"? I'd like to know, so I can avoid that region.

Is that what this joke was?
I missed it as well.
He looks like he's wearing a uniform from Star Trek: TNG.

You never cease to amaze me, SpiritGreen. I love the flipnote! :D
alephnull2k1 wrote:Love the tone and the way everything is rendered, but I'm having a little confusion with the knives...almost looks like they're suspended in the skull's teeth, is that the intended effect?
I agree on the knives. Looks like the skull is holding them in his mouth pirate style.
Otherwise, are you taking lessons from Drakxxx or something ;)
Re: King Capuchin
Yea, he looks kinda pissed.
certainly not here in the Southeast of the US...we pronounce it "cran." Although, occasionally I say "cray-on".

Not to be thick but I don't get it. What pop culture rule did it break?
