Great shirt, I would buy one.

Can you provided some close ups to better show the details and the individual rabbits.

Sure, but I can't right now, I'm leaving for "Fan Day Comicon" where I'm going to meet Stan Lee (My Hero and God)!

I'll upload some tonight, Thanx 4 your comments, though!

Re: Cornered!

I've come back to look at your design and it is still very cool.

I'm not sure why people aren't agreeing with the silencer being on the gun (saying it's not part of that era) but it most certainly was. Silencers were after all invented in the early 1900s. I'm not saying silencers were used ALL the time, but they were definitely used by mobsters and other criminals for many criminal activities.

Re: Silent Starlet

i think it would look a lot better if it were on one of the new gray shirt colors, it would help the pink pop and help the face blend a lil better.

It's actually a play off of Beauty & The Beast... quite good actually!!

ChaosDoctor07 wrote:Awesome shirt and idea. However...even though it's a parody, of sorts, of the candy "commercials" before movies, I'm not so sure this fits the theme.

I love the colors, but in addition to the floating saddle, it feels like something's off in the perspective of how the body is drawn. I keep looking at it, trying to make sense of limb and torso sizes, and failing.

Re: Gone With The Color

A tribute design to my Grand Parents all time favorite American movie "Gone With The Wind" , the design is based on a comment that my grandad used to say a lot ... "All the magic got lost when color arrived to the movies", so I tried to recreate part of that black and white silver magic into this design and hope you like it, 5 color on slate.

Thanks (o;

verminbury wrote:I follow what you're saying, j5, but I don't have a pair of anaglyph glasses to test it. When I built this, I was mimicking the color placement of 3d images I found online. Perhaps onawhitehorse and mojophilter are willing to weigh in about whether the starfield appeared closer to them or farther away than the ships, and which color lens they had over which eye.

Thanks for the feedback, regardless :>

The 3D glasses I have came with the 3D version of a Bob's Big Break DVD (Monsters vs. Aliens) THe right lens is red, left lens is green. It works great. The starfield is in the background and the ships and lasers are jumping out.

THIS MUST PRINT!!

Re: Forbidden Future

It would be an absolute shame if this shirt doesn't print. There is a lot of great art coming out on this derby, as usual and I'm haven't ever really felt compelled to comment before BUT no one has been more dead on theme and as creative as this. Win or not this is hands down the best shirt design I have seen on this site yet. If every derby had entries that captured the themes as well as this I would be buying shirts far more often.

And come to think of it, the styling of this shirt reminds me a lot of this artwork from World of Warcraft.

Very contemporary especially for a swashbuckler, and it really doesn't fit.

Go play more WoW..the shirt looks nothing like that one.

Odd, I have Polar Express 3D and my kid's Lego magazines and it's reversed of that. Gotta love standards.

Oh well, carry on then.

eta: when reversed, it just looks flat as opposed to receding into the background. I'm sure someone can weigh in on the science there.

move along

Re: No Ticket

I can research which 3d colored lens setup is the most common, and make sure my sep file matches that ...should I make it into the fog, that is.

Frankly, while I've enjoyed this design getting as many votes as it has, it doesn't seem likely at this point to make it into the top three. And I don't believe I'm allowed to turn around and submit it to the daily woot.

I don't mean to be rude, but...are you serious? Even if so, Beauty and the Beast came out 1991.

This is my favorite shirt in the derby.

In the future, though, you should try submitting earlier. You lose a lot of votes being a few days late. Here's hoping this somehow catches the eye of enough people to catch up!
