i would have totally loved this design if the candy would have had the same look on its face as the others. instead i just like it.

I really like how their bodies trail off into the banner. It's a small thing, but it makes the design look extra good.

Add me to the "I wouldn't necessarily wear it" list, but credit where credit is due, this is masterfully done. I'll confess to much preferring this style over most of your usual submissions.

A little too "cute" for my personal taste, but it would make a fab kids' shirt.

I get something of an Umbrella Academy vibe from this one. It's all a bit "Spaceboy-gone-wrong", and I love it!

Re: We do the dirty work.

First, let me say that I really do like where you went with this design overall. It's got a nice classic movies vibe to it. The only thing I don't agree with is the attire of the female in the design. Her attire just doesn't fit the fashion that I attribute to that era. Maybe it's just me. *shrugs*

Nice work, Midge. This would be great if the monster could have a glow in the dark head.

Re: Swashbuckler Island

Just my personal opinion, and perhaps this is intentional but the female looks like a 2011 woman playing pirate dress-up. She doesn't look like someone from the silver screen era, especially the straight blunt edge cut hair.

Re: Timmy Trickster and Mr.Moneymine

This design is inspired by the cartoons that often showed before the feature films in the 40's. That Timmy is a cheeky one!

I really appreciate your choice to add some blue tones in there with the grey. I think that it really adds a whole lot to the design, without overpowering it.

This is one of the few designs I've seen thus far that captures the glamor of that era. I feel like I can see the pancake makeup she undoubtedly would have worn. Kudos.
