I love the concept behind this and the expression on the wizard's face is amazing.

I don't think however that the electronic device really adds to the shirt. It looks out of place and I think the shirt would have been just as funny with out it.

Here's the Cliffs Notes version for you;

Whale = Jesus/God

The whole novel was about a man trying to find meaning, trying to find reason, and ultimately obsessed with vengeance against a god who he believes wronged him and (worse) abandoned him.

lol what a newb. Is this what your high school english teacher told you? You miss the point that literature can be interpreted in a multitude of different ways and often, no single interpretation is correct, unless explicitly stated by the author. I don't think a correct understanding of the book necessarily requires a strict interpretation of "whale = jesus/god." To quote the film the big lebowski, "that's just, like, your opinion, man." Also, learn to form your own opinions and stop regurgitating someone else's interpretation
Additionally, pretty sure I saw this get rejected in a past derby a while back...

Once I started listing titles and imagery from books to do with colour the ideas spilled out from the page. I have not counted all the references, both obvious and obscure, but hope you have fun discovering your favourites.

I love this design and want to buy it for every student in my Literature class, for my kids who love 'Where's Wally?' and for me because 'The Little Prince' is such as wonderful read. I really hope this wins, it outshines all the others!
