Re: The Usual Suspects

Later than I wanted to post this, here's my ode to Mexico. 6 Colors on brown.
It's a play on a famous movie from the 90's with the same name.
Enjoy!

Adam7986 wrote:Also if the lines on the thumbnail were same on the shirt. why did you thin them out?

For some reason when I transferred the image over to the shirt it made the lines look smaller. I thought about just making them thicker on the shirt but then I wasn't sure if it would say if the thumbnail and the actual shirt didn't match up... I'm gonna try and figure out what went wrong on the next shirt I do.

Re: Aztec Sunset

I don't know, but I think this is a bit rudimentary. It's a solid design by itself yes, but if I were a shirt designer at Tenochtitlan, it wouldn't be my style. It's not really "Aztec"...their art is bold and majestic, symbolic of that typical greatness a civilization encompasses, though I do see your inspiration.

I think you can create something much better than this, that can convey Mexico to a greater extent, ramyB[I am a lurker on Woot so I've seen a considerable number on your designs]. So honestly, this shirt is a bit...flat, and I'm disappointed. It's beautiful in a picturesque, rather than a meaningful, way.

Re: Aztec Sunset

This is an awesome design...very artistic, and one of the few I could actually wear from what I've seen of this derby so far. As others have said, I'd like to see it bigger on the shirt...but if woot's template says it's as big as can be, so be it...GMV fo sho =)

This shirt should get more votes but sadly its not correctly set up to be in the derby. there's not a sample of it on a shirt

Re: Cocijo's 925

This is a pretty awesome design. I really, really like it, and while I don't normally wear yellow/lemon the yellow really makes the design stand out. Great stuff.

Re: Lady of the Dead

Muy fantastico! Estoy muy orgulloso de usted.

The color choice is fabulous, and I like the Anglo-Mexican mix[though it could be me]. The portrait style and the way the woman is facing seems distinctively Anglo, but the Mexican theme definitely predominates.

The only thing I hate about the shirt is the color of the tee itself, because it drowns the blue patterns you have drawn. Everything else is first class.

"El Poco Loco Chihuahua Luchador!"
"El Poco Loco LuCha-Wawa" as he is know throughout ALL of Mexico! As a Midget Dog Luchador he's "In-famous" (That's more than "famous")and is revered as, "El Poco Loco!"

"El Poco Loco Perro" es todo igual. But he's not a "little" crazy, He is Mucho Loco!

The only problem with is is that you show a cream design, but the t-shirt is actually gray...I hope Woot doesn't reject it for this.
