Probably one of the nicest shirts I've ever seen on this site. I'd buy a cream shirt for this. The lion, in particular, blows my mind.

yankeebird wrote:It also doesn't make a lot of sense. Is the Honey Nut Cheerios bee afraid the naked guy is going to fart on him?

...I'm going to assume you haven't had sufficient coffee or caffeine yet. Many people are afraid of bees. Bees have a stinger on their hind end. Bees also don't wear clothes (as far as I know). Furthermore, Honey Nut Cheerios is not the first - or the last - to have drawn a cartoon bee (though apparently their marketing team did a great job with you). So, if we follow simple logic, we see much reversed here. The bee is afraid of the human coming in for a perfect bee-like butt attack. Now, was that so hard?

That's adorable! Nice touches, with the bee's bell, and the stray drops of honey on the grass.

Re: Urban Safari

Very cool! It has a bit of a retro feel to it (maybe it's just me?). It's hard to put into words how/why I like this shirt, but I do. I hate cream color, but if this shirt make it to print, you'll have my money. +1

If feel bad about doing two resubs in a row, but this fit too perfectly. It's one of my favorite designs that I've done and I changed it up quite a bit from last time. Enjoy.

Just a thought, from what I can tell this design really strikes a chord for women and they dig it, which is totally understood, does this design not appeal to guys? Just asking.

I'm a guy and I think this shirt is awesome. I personally enjoy shirts that are simple and creative as this design is. I'm surprised this isn't in the fog where some of the other shirts while nice aren't exactly designs I would consider wearable. With that said, I'm personally not going to wear this design but I plan on buying one for a lady friend if it prints.

blinddog3d wrote:wow... pretty bad riffoff, I mean ripoff. The squirrel's not that gr8, either, still looks like a bunny. If you're gonna ripp something, at least do it better!

I'll pass. I'll vote for something more original.

It's not a squirrel, it's a bunny in the picture. The joke about squirrels isn't related to the shirt at all. The joke about squirrels is just a joke saying that if squirrels did shadow puppets instead of bunnies, they'd just do shadows of nuts.

I thought about matching the steps from "The Time Warp", then titling it "And Bring Your Elbows In Tight", but I thought that might run afoul of the rule about pop culture references. Plus the hands ended up in places on the shirt that I figured would also get me rejectionated :>

Re: Cholesterol Damage

As mentioned by others, I don't see the role reversal either...If the heart was somehow harming the bacon(as a representation of cholesterol), then that would indeed be a sufficient reversal of roles. I just don't think "being pals", as opposed to normally "not being pals" is really what the derby is asking for.

"Don't believe in the you who believes in me. Don't believe in the me who believes in you. Believe in the you who believes in yourself."

Re: Defective umbrella

This is just so sad and totally pulls at my heart strings.

My first thought was that there was no way that I would want to wear such a sad kitty but I would be a great shirt to wear if if you are feeling a bit down and it would be a good way to express it...you might even get people trying to perk you up.

Anyways, awesome design that fits the derby nicely
