Role reversal would be the bacon pumping blood with the heart trying to stop it.

Bunny, Squirrel, Hand... It's still just a googled search ripoff.

I know, I know, you didn't have time to think of anything original & didn"t have time to draw anything... unique. There's 3 other entries just like it. I guess gr8 minds think alike?

Witch wanted the kids for a meal, the kids ate her for a meal = role reversal, clever and very well done

Re: THE DISTINGUISHED GENTLEWOMAN

Midge, I love this shirt. Since woot voters are being fickle, true to form, I would love to know if you end up printing this elsewhere. I have a lot of friends who would truly enjoy this shirt as well.

Ok, I guess I see now where I "went wrong". I'm used to thinking as a fine artist or as a fine artist doing graphic design; I'm used to simplifying and streamlining but since I've never had an interest in "traditional" comic styles I've never gotten used to doing symbolism or exaggeration in a traditional way.

This also explains the "I'd hang that on a wall but not wear it on a shirt" comment I keep seeing. I personally seek out and enjoy shirts that are basically affordable, wearable pieces of art; I suppose to "make it" here I've got to think more mainstream. Designs that succeed tend to fall into the "instantly comprehendible by the one-second-modern-american-attention-span" category.

Thanks for the comments and help, I appreciate you spending the time.

I really like the distressing on this one. It's perfectly rendered so that it adds to the design and doesn't distract. Nice.

It's cute, but I don't see a reversal of roles. The vegetables aren't normally chasing the children?

best shirt this week by far. the style is very fresh and would definitely buy this for the kids (if it wasn't on cream since they already own a few of them). but this should definitely print this weekend. good luck!

Not chasing, but "chasing away" - the sterotype is that normally if children see vegetables, they're running the other way to avoid having to eat them. Children desiring vegetables is the reversal.

Also, I would love to have one of these for me AND some for my kids!!!!!!!! It's so nice to see a shirt perfect for kids. I hope that if you don't end up in the fog, you can find a way to self-publish (and don't forget to come back and let us know!)
