Actually I have seen someone wearing it before, a few weeks ago. It was really surprising that it hadn't happened sooner.

Have you ever had anyone recognize and comment on your Woot shirt? I was wearing Pandemonium, one of my favorites, and the box office girl commented on it as being one of her favorites. By the way, XMen was quite good fun.

I saw a guy wearing 'In Harmony' at a local restaurant but he was walking out so I didn't get a chance to say so!
I have had several friends recognize shirtwoot shirts and vice versa, but also because they also own some. No other strangers, though.

I saw a guy wearing 'In Harmony' from a distance at a music festival down in Alabama. Coincidentally, I was wearing the same shirt.

I walked past a person wearing "No one left to play with" at a Target a couple of months ago. then the other day got into a brief shirt.woot discussion with someone wearing one...... don't know the name but it had a skeletal Uncle Sam who's arm had fallen off. Coincidentally I think I was wearing "No one left to play with" at the time.

The other day my brother sent me a picture from some event, where he was doing some music recording, of a person wearing "In Harmony". We both know the artist so it was a small world moment.

The thing about shirts moving up and down the ranks is that I have to insert/cut/paste all the info back and forth. BAH! Look at the mess I get myself into.

Anyways, for those who care, Scissors, Paper, Rock sold 4599 yesterday. Which I think influenced some of the sales in the Reckoning too, since many more are putting up good numbers. So please, buy a Shelf Life shirt so it gets a chance to stay. Pwwwwwweeeeeeeeease?

I'm still waiting for mine's, and yeah, if it's not going to make it out, I might order a second because a tortilla crane is just too cool.

Shelf Life will probably make it through this week, but probably not next week at the current sales trend.

You've been on the internet long enough to know that webnerdz don't pay attention to grammar (see also: lolcat, adding z to webnerd). The easiest way to do this is to slap an "s" or other pluralizing marking at the end of a word (ie: I'm in ur computerz, stealing ur interwebz [where the given cat photo involves a single computer, and the internet is a singular concept])

The more you know ~~~~~~~*

If we could only get readers to look up from their books long enough to notice this design. Still haven't seen one in the flesh, but I printed out a hard copy roughly the size it would appear on a kid's shirt and was pleasantly surprised at how clear it was.

My shirtfinally arrived and I am happy with the print and the fact that it made it out of the danger zone. I do have one complaint though, I wish the design could have been towards the center just a little more. The way it is now it is hard to see from a head on view.

I don't think he'd disagree with me. There is a huge gap between pedantry and not sounding like an poooony. Exploring language for the aural pleasures and visual pleasures, twisting it to reflect your needs and specify your meaning, pioneering new ways of expression... this is all good. But there is a world of difference between his less/fewer example and someone who clearly doesn't know what they're doing. cummings or stein or especially shakespeare got away with breaking convention because they knew convention to start with, and tweaked it to be useful. Internet speak is only useful to the lazy and ignorant, or else to those who wish to express the laziness and ignorance of the practitioners.

You could definately warn me to be weary of making such blanket statements. Irregardless, I am certain there are some uses of language which are pet peeves of yours from a "pedantic" viewpoint, as I'm sure Fry has himself (the video cuts off at that part, of course). I'd axe you wat dey is, but for all intensive purposes, they exist, and you'd literally slaughter someone's whole family if they used them. I wager their are more than only one or to rules and words you'd get frustrated over when there put too they're improper use, two. Language: its only as good as it's usage.

Long story short, using the visionaries of a movement to justify everything ever created devalues all creation. The Clash does not justify Good Charlotte, and Lewis Carroll does not justify lolcats. The point is to keep an open mind. That doesn't mean you can't kick people out if they start vandalizing it.

Tortilla Origami is, by my non-calculated guesstimate, at least another 25 shirts away to safety. With 12 hours left, can it make it? Maybe, if you help and buy one (or two or three) ...

Peaves of mine include misspellings like weary in place of wary. Using the word irregardless. Using a completely different word in place of two others such as "intensive" rather than "intents and". But "to" in place of "two" or "too" or vice versa is a big one too. The quoted paragraph is so full of these things that I can only assume you are trolling for a response and I felt like would oblige.

I'm very curious what's behind The Binge's recent surge. I know it's a popular shirt and all, but it's selling like gangbusters right now. You'd think it was the winner of the last derby, not one from nearly two years ago.

As for our new number one, I guess Ramy is being rewarded for really finally stretching himself beyond turbunguins.

Folks having to replace their worn out ones? Or a more likely guess, it's all the noobs that the recently popular shirts have brought in. They're discovering these older designs for the first time ... and they're buying them up too.

As for our new number one, I guess Ramy is being rewarded for really finally stretching himself beyond turbunguins.

With the recent derby incident, sorry - I find it hard to use "reward" in the same sentence. And it was just too coincidental to believe that alibi. Perhaps if he keeps up with truly original designs, he could earn back some of that trust.
