I was going to call this, "The 4 Amigos," and if I have to resub it I shall, but I'm really happy with the colors. 6 colors on Fluer Blue

Porthos, Athos, Aramis, and Le pup d'Artagnan cross paths in Paris. They became teacher, student, companion and allies and formed an unbeatable foursome that overthrew a tyrant from stealing the throne of France. Dumas rocks! Merci.

Like the Fantastic Four, each had member makes the team stronger, each has a special skill to bring to the table. With the right combination, you can do anything (like make purple and orange, side by side, without purple and orange! Fun stuff).

@Madam Atom: I contemplated using the Koi Fish as the forth animal because that's the earthly form the spirit of the Moon took but I didn't actually teach the first benders about water bending like the other three animals.

Then I starting making a pond with the moon's reflect so I could incorporate both the koi and the moon but it looked too busy. So I settled with the faint textured moon.



As for the additional color palette, I want to keep the colors muted and try to maintain the sumi painting feel.

Do you guys think it needs more color cause the design looks too flat? Needs more contrast with the shirt?

I'm really diggin' this for some reason. Probably the fact that it's not as heavy in the eyes as some of your previous submissions. The placement is perfect, the colors subtler, and the characters cute in a way that could appeal to guys as well as the fairer sex. My humble opinion is stick to crafting designs that don't take more than a day or so to complete. With talent like yours, less is more.

Something a little different. A silly idea I had about a taco shell going on an adventure to find 4 magic contents. Drakxxx took that idea and did a sort of Level Up style idea. He sent me the drawing and he had the thought of doing it like pixel art. I then retraced in super low res a pixel at a time. Even the text for the comp was made manually... aren't you proud.
