W O W...

I think you guys just trumped all your other past work combined. The concept and execution are positively awe inspiring. I am totally enraptured by this piece.

I am loving what this could be. You need to do some tweaking for sure. I would vote if there was a bit more detail. Really like how the colors pop.

Re: The Toy Peddler

I've been checking out the derby for probably over a year or longer and this is the first shirt I've voted on. I have to have it. Style seems to remind me of old children's books for some reason.

Yay, a zerobriant design on woot! Good luck; I like it much. Very detailed.

Haven't had much cause to buy anything from here in a while, but if this prints, it could break the cycle.

Love the idea. The wolf's face is priceless +1
I think the design could use a couple minor changes:
A simplified sign "BBQ" (fewer words)would make the shirt a little more subtle and hint at the 3 pigs story.
The bricks are too squared. Wasn't TNT used?

Thanks! This has always been my favorite fairy tale.
And Little Red Riding Hood just makes so much less sense than a stack of animals.

The wolf tricks the goats into letting him into their house by pretending to be their mother (he dips his paws in flour so that they are white like the momma goat's). Then he eats them all and falls asleep.
The momma comes home and finds the wolf. She cuts him open with a pair of scissors and puts rocks in his belly instead so that he won't realize the kids are gone when he wakes up.
I don't remember how it ends. :P Moral: don't let strangers in your house. They will eat you.

Re: A Clockwork Fairy Tale

Awesome to see what you two produce on a complete re-imaging of this fairy tale. I realise Draxxx is known for his free inking style, but the lack of extraneous lines really brings this piece into focus. Crescent, you have matched this approach with stunning colours that carry into another realm. You have both really put your stamp on this one in a fresh way. +1

The version I know ends with him going to a well to get a drink because his belly hurts from being full of rocks and then he gets pushed into the well.

juliaL719 wrote:Ramy could, with likely very few consequences. He could submit just about anything and it'd pop right up.

It's more of a "respect the customers" and "grow as an artist" thing.

I was drawing a lot of custom tattoo art for a while, and I noticed problem areas. So, too, did my friends and clients. Rather than saying, "eh, it's fine because I must have done it right the first way and my customers are making illegitimate complaints," I fixed the problems.

I don't see the problem with fixing an egregious error that's bothering potential customers. Is it bad to, acknowledge, and *gasp* accept helpful criticism, particularly when everyone has made it abundantly clear EXACTLY WHAT THE PROBLEM IS?

When I said it doesn't matter, I meant that the people voting on this don't notice or don't care that it may have technical flaws.

As for the rest, no comment.

Really interesting color choices and textures, quite apart from how striking the design itself is.

Very cool, littleclyde. ^__^
