No, it wouldn't!
Poster Art is a different league. This is more "comicbook" than poster.

ButtonPusher42 wrote:The Tale of the Three Brothers is a Fairy Tale. Just saying... oh well maybe next time.

And if either the title or the design had seemed in any way related to anything other than Harry Potter, or you had bothered to explain in the initial post how it was about anything other than Harry Potter, that might be a meaningful complaint. I know the fairy tale in question and I still don't see anything here but Harry Potter.

Thank you very much. I'm new to shirt.woot's derby submissions, but I plan on cranking out more designs in the future!

The tale of the toy peddler is wonderfully depicted here. Some say the story goes back to the middle ages, and that even our modern notion of Santa Claus is a "good guy" version, but here the creepy weirdness of the tale stays intact. Beautiful artwork!

paigeg wrote:The olive blanks are much closer to what's in the comp, and NOT what's on the tee mockup - definitely not that dull. This should print fine. And it should print. Lovely!

Closer to the comp, yes, but dark details still disappear into the shirt. I know from experience, as I had a print on olive where even a large block of a dark colour was difficult to tell apart from the shirt. I picked a really dark green though, so hopefully black would do better - but I wouldn't be optimistic about it.

Re: Cheshire

WOOT! How is this off topic? The Cheshire Cat is from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, which is a fairy tale according to the source that you said you would visit first: Wikipedia.

OOOoooOooo... this is totally sweet. I love a good black and white design. It has a great collage feel too it.

I had an illustration teacher in school with the last name Briant...that would be funny if it was you.

Keep designing every week and I'm sure you'll print soon.

Re: This Bridge is Highly Suspect

Your troll freaks me out. I lovvvvvve it. This is a shirt with sweet artwork AND something I would wear as a shirt. I've seen a lot of shirts in the fog (this and previous derbies) that are beautifully drawn, but wouldn't bother buying. This is totally an exception. +1
