Re: The name's Bond.

Yeah cool concept it made me corny laugh but you do have to show the design placement in the shirt comp image.

Wow I love this one. If you do not mind me asking, how do you get your sketch onto a shirt so effectively? Scanning a pencil drawing seems like it would produce too many colors for the six color limit and it seems like it would be too hard to CAD something like this.

Either Woot allows some latitude or there really is no derby. Note that only one of the spell things with elements shirts has been rejected - probably because it was too similar, but given the number that are out there, you could reject them ALL for being too similar. If a shirt is an obvious copy -spot on plagarism - then it should be rejected even if it was an obvious idea. But it should be a spot on copy, or, again, no derby.

As I noted above, I don't think this is plagiarism; rather, just a case of very similar ideas....There's only so many ways you can do a caffeine structure shirt. That being said, while one can argue about the amount of original ideas still remaining, it's certainly clear that caffeine chemical structure shirts are a frequently used (one might argue overused, but, your mileage may vary) shirt design.

Maybe a small problem: "No anthropomorphic test tubes, bunsen burners, or other lab equipment." and copyright issues.

I just colored their template and didn't even notice the collar. I have a replacement post at the ready if it comes down to it.

This is "Woot Au!" (Gold) My wife absolutely loves this and I do, too. I hope this prints so we can wear it to our Highschool reunion, in September. Everyone will be so jealous and want one, but I don't think any of them are wooters or I could sponge more votes!

laggyg wrote:I only could get 4 of them also...but you left out two of my favorites too. I was really hoping to see Unobtanium make the list (most widely known from Avatar, but has appeared elsewhere). And, although much more obscure, I was hoping to catch Metatron somewhere (from Zone of the Enders).

Very fun design, though! =)

I was actually pleasantly surprised not to see the Unobtanium reference. I had figured that to be one of the "obvious" picks.

Or the new element in Iron Man 2 that I can't recall the name of.

I almost did Adam Ant with sideburns and the triple claws in his Prince Charming pose. But I thought it might have been over people's heads, that was back in the 80s and kind of a distant connection. But the idea made me smile, since he was such a "dandy" and Wolverine is such as Badass!

Thanks again for the vote,

I like it much, much better, but that don't look like navy, more like Asphalt, but it could be my laptop's monitor. I'll check it on the "Big Boy" when I get home.
