Are they meant to be 'eating' carbon atoms? :P

THIS! Such a clever design but really you need to do Royal Blue.

This is hilarious. I'm in OChem II right now and can't wait to show this to my prof. Plus now I don't have to study it for the final... I'll never forget it after reading this shirt!

Re: Why Chemistry Matters

HA! For the slightly-less-stupid/careless, H2O2 would fool 'em. It would definitely knock you on the ground...and a person could probably drink more of it before realizing the mistake. One whiff of H2SO4 and you'd never put it near your lips; the fumes alone without eye protection are painful.

Re: The End Is The Beginning

Awesome design but another colour ink and background/shirt would be far superior IMO...Cobalt/Slate maybe, or Purple/Orange...just an idea!

Re: DOPAMINE

Dopamine is not really the LOVE neurotransmitter - rather, serotonin and oxytocin are.

Dopamine is more of the LUST neurotransmitter - or more accurately and generally, the EXCITING OBSESSION neurotransmitter.

Great idea! I understand the concept, but I would love it if it used the entire periodic table instead of just ES.

Good question.
Thanks BlindDog and Yakimikku for your comments also!

That's fantastic! I really hope this one surges up the derby rankings, it's really clever.

Love the idea, but I wish it wasn't just a stick man. I like a little more whimsy on my shirts that have balloons on them.

I'm so glad you like it!! :D and glad to help you with your ochem studies! Thanks for the comment!

It's to bad it won't win--but having jokes that require at least a semester of ochem to understand didn't really help it in that regard! XD Maybe I should start a webcomic.

Re: a hypothesis of science and love...

A wee tale told in three, of love, or the clueless pursuit thereof, told through the different disciplines of science and their place with regard to each other.

(Or if you like a cautionary tale for those who would enter science... )

Poke it, if it wiggles, it's biology.
If it stinks, it's chemistry.
If it doesn't work, it's physics!

Buggerin' shrimp'n'millet! Who else manages to post twice within the same comment... Sorry I've resubbed this quite a few times, cos I'm new to this, and currently not feeling too bright- mistakes and whatnot. Hope no one's peeved, by my incompetence ;oP

Anyways... 6 colours on asphalt, enjoy!

Nicely done BUT nuclear explosion [correct me if I'm wrong] NOT equal chemistry [nuclear physics is not chemistry]

I think it's relevant, as all bombs have their basis in chemistry, including nuclear bombs and nuclear chemistry is certainly a discipline. Marie Curie herself won a nobel prize in chemistry for her studies into radiation.

Nice. GMV +1
