I too love the look of the glass. But the fact that the beakers look, more or less, immaculate doesn't seem to match the mess below the scale.

The glow is blue-green because that's the color of Argon lasers, also a common color for neon signs with argon (plus mercury). Also, chemists love puns.

The colors and styled letters are nice, but H2O has 2 Hydrogen and 1 Oxygen.

The hydroperoxyl radical would have 2 Oxygen and 1 Hydrogen, but that would be HOO, not HOH. Hydrogen just isn't going to bond to 2 Oxygens like that
