The shirt ends with "that does not work", indicating that the making of breakfast was done incorrectly. At any rate, my intention wasn't to justify the on topicness of that design. I'm more interested in this one, and how it's on theme.

The design you tried to link to is inspired by the wonderful Eddie Izzard and is totally in keeping with the 8-bit theme. It's not necessarily "everyday" but it's not a huge stretch. I don't even know what this is. Portal reference blending into death reference? And it's patriotic? I think "huh?" summed it up pretty well.

Yeah, it took me a while to figure out, but it's actually two consecutive measures, not a grand staff. Their proximity is a little confusing. Clever nonetheless!

Thanks for the feedback! I was trying to keep it in line with theme as I remember a number of 8-bit enemies who seem similarly rendered.

Do you think it would be worth my effort to refine it a bit?

Love the design, wish it was fogged! One thing I love about it that's kind of unrelated to the design is that it takes up the whole shirt, so it's not just DESIGN and the empty space for the other 99% of the shirt.

My 8-bit memories are all of text adventures and ill-advised educational software on the Apple IIe.

My 8-bit design experience consists entirely of putting together pixel grids for knitting patterns.

If you don't think this is everyday, you haven't seen the knitters on Seattle public transit.

Hm... I haven't really seen that many other ramyb designs, so I can't see what the fuss is about, but I actually like the design. It's clean, crisp, a good shirt for coffee-lovers...what's wrong with it? I did see your other one, though, and I have to say that I like this one over the other.

I don't get why this isn't in the top either. I love the lettering and coloring of the text, and the way the cake is drawn really makes me hungry. Great design!

Wow! I'm really impressed by your updates on this.

Just another entry on a boring Sunday afternoon. I filled my gas tank up this morning, and thought a shirt about the ridiculous gas prices would be appropriate, as we are all living with them daily now.
