Re: Puppy Love

I really love the simplicity of the design, and the heart shape the puppies form. I would like it more more if they weren't pink and blue, though. I think it would look real classy with both of them white.

As pop-culture shirts go, this is really beautifully done. However, something about that ear is bothering me. It just seems ... off, somehow?

Cheers justzo, you've almost got them all. The one in the orange hat is "Odie," Garfield's nemesis.

Was about to make a similar comment, but someone beat me to the punch. I really like this watercolour-y, children's storybook sort of style. Nicely done.

This is well-executed, and at least has a shred of concept behind it, but I personally just can't get behind the "Star Wars for the sake of Star Wars" thing. Honestly sort of wishing Woot would bring the "no Star Wars" rule ...

My bad there, should have made it a little more obvious.

She could in the books, but then again, they weren't ruby there.

Hey, it happens. Plus, yours has a unique enough slant on the concept to justify it.

Thanks for your constructive criticism. This being my first week, I was a little gun-shy with the fading effect. I appreciate your comments, though. I'm glad you took the time to make them.

Re: Origami Dogs in the Rising Sun (RESUB)

Six colors on BROWN.

Description: "Having a limited amount of time this week -- I have a show that goes up next Thursday -- I knew I wanted to do something angular, since it would move the fastest. Origami popped into my head; then, living in Texas, I thought of that freakishly hot sun we've been treated to this Summer. Put the two together, and that's the run. I wanted to make everything look like paper and textiles. Very flat and clean and simple. Hope you enjoy!"

RESUB: I hadn't noticed that a few of my patterns had gone missing, so I used it as an excuse to take the design further. It's much closer to my original intention. The important thing is that I feel better about it!

Ice cream. Or, you know. Ink, maybe. I would go with ink. (Or, if you're really good, you can imagine the paper's melting).

It's ambiguous. I just thought it looked cool. Er, or ... "hot", rather. -:P
