agreed! thanks for the critique- i didnt play with it as much as i shouldve but i think this is a reasonable breakdown of ear weirdness... there should be more shading of the darkest gray around the area of the head next to the ear, and the black doesnt go up to the edge, theres a white area around it. i dont think thats true of real dogs but snoopy is that way so i figured it would be a decent feature to allude to. also the way a dogs ears perk up tend to be more like if the ear itself was flipped as if to face forward but i wanted to fake some sort of relaxedness/wind or something and did a mediocre job of it. typically beagles have that brown area too, but since snoopy doesnt i didnt put it in. ultimately he looks like my real life dalmatian which isnt what i wanted so i tried to make the ears floppier. not the best job admittedly but im proud of the end result.
