Re: All Dogs go to Heaven

The guidelines say: "Illustrator users, please submit your final art with gradients. We'll create the halftones on our end."

I have done so, so I'm not sure why this was rejected for gradients the first time around...

Aww, this is so cute! Does anybody know who the little grey dog next to Clifford is? I cannot figure that one out, but I got everybody else! :3

None of them really LOOK like the dogs they're supposed to represent, but I think that was to avoid the rejectionator.

I'd say the gray dog (the only one thus far not named) is Astro from the Jetsons.

I was really hoping somebody went for a husky shirt, my fav breed as well and I actually own a mini husky and they are amazing animals. Great shirt +1

I think the concept is cute (and so are the dogs), but I had trouble seeing the fire hydrant shape. A little more height might help, I don't know.

Re: Boba Fetch

When I first glanced at the thumbnail, I was annoyed that Star Wars was being used yet again... I love Star Wars and all, but I'm sick of seeing the same things repeated over and over just because they sell well. I assumed this would be a recreated scene or just Boba Fett's dog or something; however, I actually find this to be pretty clever. Fun concept. Still heavy on the pop culture, but well executed. GMV

Re: sweet dreams!

I love -- frickin' LOVE -- the characters. But something about the clouds behind the dog seem off to me. I think they look slightly squashed horizontally; I feel like the top of them should hit above (or should be in line with) the heads of the bacon. Or, maybe, they should be a bit lighter and, therefore, more subtle; the blue shade is very close in lightness to that of the meat. Maybe that's what's bothering me.

That being said, I'm going to go laugh the day away at how amusing it is for me to be critiquing your work. -:P Anything I say aside, it's still fabulous. I love your shading to death.

I'm not enough of a dog person to be into the concept fully (despite how amazing the godly dogs look), but I'm fascinated by your halftones on this one. I may buy it as a gift, just so I can see how those print. Either way, GMV! -:O Amazing work.
