I didn't vote for it, but I wish they would have given an explanation as to why they couldn't run it. It seems a little abrupt after the design holding the fog for a week.

When they said you cannot alter the logo in any way, they were not referring to one of their big money makers. He can alter the logo, but you can't.

Don't be an poooony. That is the same thing as saying "woot could print this without the text.". in a no text derby. It either adheres to the rules or not. This, does not.

Isn't this a parody by incorporating the Brady Bunch spin? It's difficult to get without the title of the bag but it would be printed on it. Initially, I thought it was rejected of the logo appearing to be stretched. Similar to this entry.

I love this one too. It's easy to understand and puts a smile on your face. The design is a great representation of wearing a woot shirt.

I'm surprised the cookie monster thing wasn't mentioned before. He wasn't referencing The Binge design as much as just drawing the top of Cookie Monster's head without any context or parody. Shocking that Ramyb would ever do something like that I know!

Maybe I can enjoy the bag derby now.

I'm a little surprised that this wasn't rejected, because the rules state the logo must be white on a colored background. Perhaps the ones on blue in the center fulfill this rule sufficiently, allowing leniency with the colored ones.

Having said that, I think this is a very cool design, although it does make me a little dizzy looking at it. But I love the concept.

Unfortunately, just like tjost's original idea, Cookie Monster is too recognizable, even in a Brady Bunch setting and thus runs into copyright issues. As you said, it's difficult to get without the title of the bag, and that's what matters. I'm honestly surprised it took Woot that long to reject the design; normally they're quick on the ball when it comes to copyright.

What! Rejected?! There is a blue circle with a white exclamation point in the bottom left corner of the vending machine!!! What's wrong with that one?!

I just wanted to thank the 23 strangers (one vote from me, one from my ever-supportive mom = 25) that liked my illustration enough to vote on it.

I look forward to taking on the woot derby challenges in the future, though under a different name. I'm going to delete this account and post under sleekhare.
