I have two ideas so far....a spiral of cleaning supplies and a clock with my daily chores on it...any input?

Do any of you ever run your ideas by friends or family members and ask their opinion of it?

I sent out a whole slew of texts to mine in a "chose A B C or D" format. They initially thought it was a psychology test....

How can you say that?! I hate that monster. If I ever found him I'd poke him in the eye repeatedly until he gave back every sock that he stole :P

Question: We can only use six colors, right? If so, are we allowed to add shading or highlights or does that count as additional colors? I guess my real question is are we allowed to use multiple shades of the same color? Thanks

You can use 6 ink colors. However, you can work with halftones and blending (still using the same 6 inks) to create way more colors than that. I've seen some artists make it look like there were 12 or 13 colors only using 6. Also, you can use the color of the shirt in your design and kind of sneak a 7th color in that way.

Yes, please work this one up! Although I admit that on first view the monster looked like the Cookie Monster and I wondered why the kid would wash his toy - maybe a less-muppety monster?

I like it, RRR, but don't care for what looks like a face on the front chest panel of the 'bot. Maybe a feather duster in the other hand?

I prefer the red. And I would love to see you submit a dog version of this as well.

I disagree about the feather duster. The way the robot is holding the cord in that hand is so *exactly* how my mother vacuums. That little detail is what makes this design for me.

I like the red. But the cat's behind looks a little odd. Can the fluffy part extend all the way down to his butt? And the bump on top of his butt is odd looking, too.

Toying with this one. A bit detailed for me, but I think it would turn out pretty fun. Let me know what the Woot masses think!

I think it's funny and like it alot, but I kinda wish the plate had more obvious hair. Like a big afro or beehive or curly mustachio or something.

Here's what I'm playing with:

My goal is to combine sorting garbage and recyclables with the old Mac garbage can.

Does it work or should I just put the design in the center of the chest.

Note: I know the derby rules say no video games, so I'm hoping the fact the Mac desktop is a shell/OS not a game will let this slip past the rejectionator.

P.S.: Any suggestions for what the hand should be holding? I was toying with the idea of an apple core >; )

Got the idea and drawing done, just gotta think colors and shading... Wish I didn't have to go to day job tomorrow.

Since my last bag lady did so well in the last derby, thought I'd stick with the feminine form.

Color or tshirt color thoughts? Thinking pinks or yellows...

I meant the bump on top of the cat's butt/back. Google image cat tail fluffed and you'll see what I mean about the tail. There's no "stem" before the fluff. The correct body position and fluffy tail will make the cat look properly scared of the vacuum monster. And we all know how truly horrible that monster is...
