It's not my site and I'm not challenging anything. I was just answering the question you posed by copying and pasting the reason that was given right underneath the comp.

Ha! The spot-on TARDIS is Rejectionator bait, but I like this idea. If you do a revision before trying it elsewhere, I recommend refining the drape of the clothing and softening the lines of the TARDIS so it all hangs together as one composition a bit more.

Edited to add: What's the color count on this? I see black, white, blue, orange, red, dark grey, yellow, and maybe also a dark blue... which is 8. There's a six-color design limit. (Believe me, I know the difficulties of trying to design for The Scarf in a six-color palette.)

Only six colors just a lot of halftone work.
blue,red,yellow,cream,black,green, and of course the shirt color. Thanks for the comments i hope i dont get rejectinated. The tardis is actually missing a lot but if i have to redo any ideas?

In that case, I recommend doing a quick resub with a close-up of some of the halftone work in the 580x580 image, because that has to be visible to voters.

I know you've left off the door decorations and so on, but the Rejectionator has previously been pretty hard on TARDIS and Dalek designs. (I know the BBC tends to guard its IP pretty vigilantly, so I don't blame them.) All I can recommend is crossing your fingers and considering a more stylized design next time.

lol yeah i'm starting to get a sense that I have to either make a pop culture reference or draw something really cute. It's all good though, i'm just making a shirt that I'm willing to wear.

I don't think it will get rejected, it's just a police booth, not an exact copy of Tardis. And for the halftones, I think you can see them in the Shirt Comp image.
