A turtle and a bunny ... but where's the penguin? ^_^

Wouldn't this depiction make the race a tie? XD

Nice piece though, excellent use of creme.

Well I for one am not amused by this graphic depiction of lagomorphan-reptilian slavery.

Teamwork while traveling, I like the style, the characters seem both mellow + wise. My acupuncturist would probably suggest following their example.

I get a real Watership Down meets Redwall feel from this shirt.

I can't believe that IACUC approved such mode of transportation, it seems unethical.

I was listening to this song Matthew Wilder - Break My Stride while looking at this shirt and thought it was coming out of a wootcast somewhere.

I like the tree. Would be in for two if it were just the tree.

Please do not increment my Quality Posts count. 69 is a good place to be. ;-)

Wow, congrats on your first woot print Ochopika! First of many I hope.

Glad to see the hare isn't using spurs - cruel and in this case, ineffective.

Is it just my severe midnight snack hunger pains, or does anyone else see bacon in the background tree area?

I was just about to go to bed, but I decided to check to derby one more time...then I saw today's Woot and I fell out of my chair (You know they don't tell you when they'll print your daily?? It's very suspenseful. I love you anyway, woot!). The floor is crooked in my apartment and so my chair is very unsteady.

Anyways, thank you so much, Woot and Wooters

Getting to ride horses? Lots of fun..
Getting to wear this shirt while riding? The jury is out, but I think it'll work out fine. I might update this post in the future.

Maybe the hare could try some pizza on a stick? Or are tortoises immune to such shenanigans?

Congrats ochipika!

I see what you did there. :P

IMHO, these two are far better-drawn than the turtles and bunnies churned out by the artist who seems to be, simultaneously, the most-popular and most-maligned designer on shirt.woot.

Not to be a hater or anything. Hey, HE started it! *points at Narfcake*

Is this shirt a reminder to take the scenic route in life, once in a while? An allegory for modern times that says: savor the moment! Don't rush everything, stretch out the best parts, they are the ones spent with good friends.

Or is ochopika simply misrembering the movie Planes, Trains and Automobiles after drinking too much sake. Perhaps we will never know.

My first thought! (If it were teamwork, the turtle wouldn't have a bit in his mouth.)

Wear this shirt: for your first marathon! Also try not to get any spaghetti on it the night before.

I'm running my first marathon next month. The timing would be perfect. Can I get this shirt in a dry-fit? Cotton=evil.

I thought I had pretty much maxed out on woot shirts, but this one was just too good to pass up. Very nice, ochopika.

I love everything about this right down to the creme colored tee. Congratulations on the print, Ochopika. I've been a fan of yours since the Science Fair Derby and I hope this is the start of a beautiful shirt-buying relationship!

They did! Where were you?

EDIT: This reminds me of the stereotypical Deadhead who sits in the back of the concert hall screaming "DARK STARRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!" As there are other songs to play, there are other shirts to print, buy, and wear.

Don't forget there's a tree in there, too! The penguin is on the cover of a book in the saddlebag. It's a book on "Arctic Survival" It's behind the carrots. No, really; it is on a layer behind the carrots in the original file.

I ultimately decided that it didn't make sense in my design (since everything else makes perfect sense, lol)

Is there any doubt that the rabbit is just going to rest while he's on the tortoise, and then sprint the last 20 yards to win the race. That tortoise is a sucker.

My partner and I describe ourselves as being the tortoise and the hare in 3-legged race. I would like someone to draw that for me, please.

Very beautiful design my friend. I'm very happy for you and congratulations! I was just saying that my 3 yr. old daughter was so pokey. I think this shirt will be quite fitting. Thanks again for the great shirt!
