I can't see it as a wrist crease, so it's all left by me.

You know what? I think this shirt would look much better with an image of Greedo shooting first at Han, or with Vader yelling "Nooooo!" or with an poooonyic floppy tongued Gungan, or with two rapping aliens in a cantina. Yes, that sounds much better, go for it Mr. Pyle.

To me, his voice work for the Joker is still the definitive version of Batman's arch nemisis.

Doubtful, but it'll still be trendy as a result.

That is a terrible way to hold a lightsaber, no wonder Luke is always getting his butt kicked.

The original Facebook like button is a right hand; perhaps that gives me some bias to see the grey line as a wrist crease instead of the end of the fingers of the left hand.

I couldn't buy the shirt if it was a left hand because that would just be inaccurate.

I haven't seen that one.. But then, I had to sit through an advance screening of Black Magic Woman. Nothing George Lucas can do to the original trilogy can surpass the travesty of that flick...

I thought a bit about this as well. I think facebook will last for a while, maybe not THAT long. In any case, I figured this design would have a better shot at 2031 relevancy than a MySpaceBalls mash up.

Hey, I just noticed Nathan Pyle (I assume it's the same one) has a new shirt on Threadless today, too. Congrats on a great start to your week, sir!

Yes! Thank you so much. A great start for sure! Thanks for noticing. The amazing Peter Kramar deserves a shout out for my latest threadless print, as he was my collaborator.

Coincidentally, I am currently watching Episode V on Blu-ray. Bye, bye to Luke's hand. Nice design, Nathan!

Anyone know where the hand actually ended up? Is it lodged in a Cloud City air duct somewhere or do you think it landed on the planet Bespin? Is there even an actual planet beneath Cloud City?

Maybe a Bespin dog ate it and became Force sensitive through osmosis.

I grew up on Star Wars. I use Facebook probably every day. I don't think I need the joke explained to me. I just don't think it is funny. Sorry.

The reason there is a Star Wars reference, even though the derby says "No Star Wars," is because this isn't a Derby Entry, it's a Daily Entry. Different category, different rules. You can tell since there isn't a trophy on the main page saying "1st Place." Two different ways to submit shirts.

Okay, how do we get different numbers? Are we doing this in different ways? I get the first numbers on http://shirt.woot.com/Forums/ViewPost.aspx?PostID=4639899c as soon as the first numbers post. Now, as I type this the number is up to 4468 and the time of last sale is still before midnight Texas time. 11:59:54. What number is used by Woot for the Reckoning? I can't rest until I know!!!!!

Haha! I got 4471 when I tried.

So I'll go with 4,471 until I'm told otherwise.

Can you check your artist sales link? That one is probably the most accurate. It'll be the number right under ORDERS that says: 4??? of 5000 reserved/sold/shipped.

That number always stays the same no matter how many next day orders you get.

Yes, that sounds like it would be the correct number to use as the first day sales. So the true number of first day sales will only be known by the artist and Woot if there are first day sales that post after the sales numbers go up. RATS!!

Finding out that the first numbers for first day sales are not final is not the worse thing of the past day. Having my main hard drive die after one month is why I am still up at this hour. Good thing my son had a couple of 2 TB drives just sitting around. Setting up time.

It was put in the Emperor's personal collection. Grand Admiral Thrawn used it it later to make a clone, named Luuke Skywalker (note the double u) and gave Anikin's old lightsaber that Luke used to Luuke. Mara Jade ended up killing Luuke, which was close enough to count for the Emperor's last command to her, to kill Luke.

Yes, I am a Star Wars nerd. Deal with it.

4471 is the number you seek, as it is the # listed in my internal 'out of 5000
