As an official member of the "Hawaii is a state too and not just a ketchup stain on humanity" coalition, I would like to state my displeasure at tonight's shirt. Hawaiian's have feelings just like you and I, they may not be able express their hurt and sorrow in ways that we would understand, but never the less they do have feelings too.

I for one protest tonight's woot shirt.

For those of you wondering about what happened to Michigan, haven't you ever seen those disclaimers that all the major burger chains put out? It usually goes something like this:

Try McDonalds new 1/2 pounder!*



*net weight before cooking.

Simply put, Michigan shrank after the cooking process.

Or maybe someone missing one of their front teeth took a bite out of Michigan.

As a proud resident of the colony of the District of Columbia, I gotta quibble with the description of DC as a toy. Ain't no toy. Toys don't have to put up with taxation without representation. And our sauce is waaay special.

I love that all of the Michiganders are coming out of hiding. We put up with a lot of crap in our state, but the one thing we won't stand for is being grossly misrepresented on a t-shirt showing our nation as a massive hamburger. You gotta draw the line somewhere.
