Dynasty471 wrote:I'm sorry that I'm a little out of the loop, but I really liked your other shirt. Which rule of the derby did it break?
Hi Dynasty471, the old version, I was using a moon pic (It was free use, but people tell me that it was against the rules here...So I dropped it and redid all design :D
thewronggrape wrote:I prefer the brown version. It has a retro feel to it, like the opening credit of I Love Lucy or something. This version seems more futuristic/sci-fi.
thewronggrape, me too. But the brown versions didn't reach the fog, so I resolved to make some changes and tryied again with another version.

Maybe :{D
Re: Everything happens in Vancouver
what's my car doing on this shirt?
avaqadore wrote:I would wear this shirt until it falls apart from wear and tear. I hope this gets made!
Thanks! I hope it gets made, too.
Re: The Dark Side of Pyramids
I would for sure buy this shirt if it wins.
I love this so much! And great detail on the stargate! Definitely GMV!
Re: Lucky Park
The contrasts of colors are amazing! Excellent results.
sellout87 wrote:i thought about doing a character from futurama, but the show is more about a team than a family so there's no central father figure. I wanted the focus to be more on cartoon dads.
Dr. Farnsworth is the central father figure (as well as an actual father on the show) and why can't a team be considered a family is my question
tobefonseca wrote:My Triumphal Arch is an entrance, a door to another plane. Welcome to heaven. I hope you guys like it even more than the other version. Thanks for all kind words, tips and advices that I've been receiving here last days. :D
Although all your artwork is great (don't stop submitting), I really preferred your original. The original was so wearable, while this version is too cartoon-ish for my taste.

Yeah Kimos, I do prefer the first version too...But I can't use brushes or anything like that, so it's can't leave that version on Derby...Too sad
Re: Statue to the Curious Tale of Rabbits Tea and Hats
I like the little mousker hiding in his hat :D.
Re: The Croquet Colossus of East St Louis
Love it! Got my vote, although the amateur astronomer in me is tempted to point out the moon can never be on the Northern horizon...
parrotworks wrote:Clever concept. I think some chopsticks and noodles would have been cool.
Hey Thanks.... I knew i wasn't going to be able to work on this past Friday, so i just submitted what I had. You're right.... Noodles and chopsticks, maybe a fortune cookie should definitely be in here somewhere.
This shirt needs more votes! I didn't think I was going to find a print that I liked in this derby. But this is epic! And waaaaaay better with the adjustment made.
Good one!
Re: Land of the Fries
Re: Vermont leaf lanmark
hmm, surprised there isn't a phish reference in there too..
Re: Where I spent my childhood
Well, for what it's worth, I liked it. But I guess this answers my long running question about Disney parodies and inspired designs run.
Re: Monument in honor of invisible woman
The Emperor's New Clothes kinda of monument :D
Another vote from a fellow Michigander!
Pyramids are shining diamonts in my concept.
I want one. It is true, I live here in MI.
Re: Pyramids: The Jewel of Nile
You're having bad luck! But I love every design you've put up! If this existed, it would be the greatest landmark of all time. And they would have to have the best security in order for people not to chip at the walls! It also looks phenomenal on a shirt. I hope this gathers votes quickly!
I agree
squirrrl wrote:Love the shirt but I wish it said: "check out our book"
That would have been fabulous. Still want this shirt, though.

Hi melfox86, sure I'm having a terrible luck LOL, but ok, lets moving on! Thanks so much!
well thank you anyway good sir
I sincerely hopes this makes it..my favorite design I've seen thus far.... kudos, fellow trekkie, kudos ^_^
Re: One Sweet Landmark - RESUB
I like how the design pops on the grey shirt.
Re: Hanging City of Babylon
Very impressive using only three colors (correct me if I'm wrong). The simplicity and modern look and feel to it seems like such a great combination to have on a shirt. I really like this one, I hope it gets back into the fog.
United States in one picture- liberty and patriotism in one hand, and a Big Mac in the other.
It's so fluffy! And of course my mouse magically moves onto the "I'd Want One" button for anything fluffy. Congrats DianaSprinkle, another awesome entry.
tobefonseca wrote:Maybe :{D
Or perhaps a Magician's Nephew/Wizard of Oz...Just got that one...

There are seven people that deserve to have their voting privileges revoked for supporting this.
mrwednesday wrote: I fear this is going to suffer from the thumbnail though. I'm not sure it's quite provocative enough which is a shame. We need to get this in the hotness.
I think it's because the thumbnail has so much yellow, it may give the impression that the shirt itself is yellow. I know I usually look at the yellow shirts very last, since it's not a shirt color I'm fond of
Re: Enjoy!
I think this is great. If I ever open I Chinese restaurant, I want you to design it!
This shirt must be made! It is awesome.
Re: America Rocks
This totally rocks dude! \m/
I really like this one. GMV
