I revoted. It's quite awesome still. I could be wrong here, but did you brighten it up? My monitor isn't the best and that seems to be the main difference in the two versions.
I think this clashes terribly with the shirt color you chose but the design is really cool. Maybe cream or a green or red would be better.

it does, certainly. I don't think the blue works too well- evokes water to me more than night. maybe some sky with stars, or a moon would have been better.
