I think there is an assumption this brain belongs to the wearer of the shirt. The design is meant to be a funny commentary on the stereotypical geek brain. Think comic book guy on The Simpsons. Anyway, I'm grateful to be in the fog even with the controversy.

I love the "graphic novels" part. I don't read many graphic novels (more of a standard fantasy/sci-fi novel kind of geek), but I don't know how many times I had to explain the difference when people asked what Watchmen was.

Also, doesn't the "girlfriends" thing work for everyone?

- Straight Male: Standard joke.

- Straight Female: It's a mystery on how to become one.

- Non-Straight Female: Standard joke.

- Non-Straight Male: Girlfriends? What are those?

- All: Why would I want one of those? They'd just get in the way of all the stuff I have to do... ;p

Doesn't seem like much of a deal-breaker to me. Anyway, nice job with the shirt; GMV!

It's just a wonderful concept. To wear it as a shirt might be able to get people thinking about where their happiness is.

Thank you and the Otaku part is simple because if you look closely you can see that it is a anime style eye which I think look vary cool.

This one made me chuckle - if only it weren't too late to take out the "Reached your Destination" text. I think this shirt would be perfect with no further explanation than "Recalculating..." (mental image of Mayhem laughing maniacally)

You'd think he'd be number one on the girl scout's delivery schedule though... ;)

Your right, awesome idea but you killed it with with the comic sans. Here's a pretty basic design tip, NEVER use comic sans no matter what. Not even as the text in a thought bubble on a comic strip.

I'm not sure how consistent this off-topic rejection is but I was definitely surprised.
The only other things i can think of is that the person rejecting does not like Ramyb, or does not like being inconsistent in axing even though the rule wording is kind of iffy..

Or it has something to do with the guest editor. That's all i can think of.

I remember when Monarch butterflies were very common, now they're dwindling...while I'm not a big butterfly guy, I love and respect nature and the same goes for your design...well done and I've noticed my first reaction was echoed by others...beautiful

This is a wonderfully simple concept, and I love simple. As people said, this might have been better as a poster, but it won't stop me from buying this! Good luck, and hopefully this places *fingers crossed*

It's super good just wish the design wasn't centered that adds depth and makes the shirts more approachable since it adds some class I vote you throw this one back in the mix but instead of having the design dead center throw it right or left a little on the chest :D

Congrats on making the contenders ranking again ramyb. We have a number of your shirt designs and I generally like this design. However, it has too much text. Having both "Recalculating" and "You have reached your destination" ruins the design in my opinion. Good luck but I'll pass on this one if it is offered.
