Re: Careful Planning
Nice. I've always wanted to figure out how to work Rodents Revenge into a shirt design of some sort. I like the difference of the closer, 3D blocks versus the traditional appearance on the map. It takes just a moment before you get it.
I think it would a been nice to somehow fit more blocks into the design and maybe a wedge of cheese, but oh well.
Being left, I can't enter this heart o_0

Re: Old Friends Reunited
Nice work, love the characters!
Re: iso soul
Haha, funny! The rough art style really works well here!
Re: Not in Kansas anymore
Is this serious? The US is not a fictional world I didn't create

I *knew* that place south of me was fake the minute I stepped into it. No way can any real country be that crazy.
I think we're going to need an explanation on this one. Otherwise, I call shenanigans.
Re: I love USA the Purplest
We the Purple? What the hell was that?
Re: The Migration Committee
"Settle down, you guys," he said. "Let's get the flock out of here."
Very cute! GMV.
Re: Map of Daily Pet Routes
This is cute! I love the little...erm...puddle ;). Haha.
Re: Baltimore State Forensic Hospital
This is a real place, lots of work for nothing. Open for comments still.
ramyb wrote:I thought about this issue, but I don't really see this as a world- it is a maze, and what is shown is a map of the maze. Although it is clearly a reference to a game, the map itself is my own design and isn't taken from any of the levels in the game- ultimately it is up to woot to decide what they think, but that was my reasoning. If the map were drawn in different colors, it wouldn't even be a question, so from a map standpoint, I don't think it is a fictional world I didn't create.
You could resub this by removing the references. If I hadn't read the comments, I'd never have guessed it was inspired by Rodent's Revenge, and that was a game I used to play a lot back in the day! (Along with Chip's Challenge).
I guess in this derby woot wants no reference to anything in pop culture.

Re: So Lost
This rejection makes me sad.
Re: Pirate Map
Re: What, no map?
Love the new caption!
Re: GPS Fail
Why is the GPS recalculating if the destination has been reached?
Re: IM THE MAP
Im the map, Im the map, Im the map, Im the map, Im the map, IM THE MAP!
Hmm...Not really seeing a map of a different world here. Rejection needs further explanation.

Chip's Challenge was aawwwwesome! :D
The US is not a fictional place. It exists. I live there. Just in case though, I got rid of every hint of fictional world in the design- now it is just a girl looking at a map of the United States. If you liked the previous version, I hope you will still like it now Thanks everyone for your continued support on this design
Re: Star Map
Pretty shirt! I would buy it for sure!
I've resubmitted this. Here's the link:
And here's the large version:
Re: The Road to My Heart is Paved with Ugly Cats
Awesome! I was going to draw my entry with crayons.
Re: Pirate Map RESUB
I've resubmitted this. Here's the large version, so you can see what is written:
For those who are too lazy to click the above link, the writing says, from bottom up, left to right:
The Kracken (Little Sister)
The Forest of Head-Shrinkery (Dad on the Couch)
The Treacherous Swamp (Mom in the Kitchen)
X-Marks-the-Spot: The Cookie Jar!

Re: 70% Water
It's probably hard to see detail, so here's a link to the full image:

I wanted to not see it, but now I see it. Always and forever. The prow appears to be going into the distance, while the sails are coming forward. And it seems like I'm viewing the lit cabin from the side.
At first glance, however, the shirt looks nice. And that's what you're going for in a shirt.
Voted! Great joke which doesn't at all require knowledge of the title. Hope you do well.

Anyone play SkiFree? Oh, the Abominable Snow Monster! I miss old computer games like those gems.
how did you create that on your computer?
bottlehed wrote:I guess in this derby woot wants no reference to anything in pop culture.
It appears that way, given the other rejections under "no maps of fictional worlds." If they were a little tighter with the rules, this could have been avoided. Instead, were stuck with some nebulous rejectionating.
Re: asteroid map
It makes me feel so small and inconsequential.
I love it!!!

Now let's see if pop culture is a hidden restriction.
That's cookies without raisins only, right?
rachy wrote:Oh, and if you do decide to adjust, consider seeing if you can use "pwn" in there somewhere, probably under games.
I appreciate the feedback. I was just going for a simple funny joke. Hopefully you guys will still like it enough to give it a vote!

I love this!
