I have! Well, listened to it. Deep, depressing, horrific, and your favorite characters are all tortured mercilessly. I love it!

Well, it was looking like a bright, sunny fall day this morning with lots of promise, but after that write up, not so much...sheesh, when did Halloween get so apocalyptic?!

Save the Earth...

Alas, poor Yorick! I knew him, Horatio; a fellow of infinite jest, of most excellent fancy; he hath borne me on his back a thousand times; and now, how abhorred in my imagination it is! My gorge rises at it. Here hung those lips that I have kissed I know not how oft. Where be your gibes now?

Caw!

move along

I have nothing against this shirt or the artist, but that nevermore shirt* has been up so long I don't want to see another raver shirt in my life.

*I am not a fan of the nevermore shirt, although I do not mean that as an insult, it is simply my personal opinion.

Still single, can't imagine why.

It is thanks to the __Insert_opposing_political_party_here__ in Washington.

Still single, can't imagine why.

Am I the only one not grokking this shirt? Is there a hidden picture, like with those jungle shirts from a week or so ago? Or is this a reference to something that I just don't know?

Otherwise, it just looks like some birds and a skull. And I imagine it's got to be more than that. Cause it kinda just looks like an Abercrombie & Fitch shirt.

Hello everyone! This is tervaja aka mw82. Thanks to shirt.woot for printing my design and I hope everyone likes it. And yeah, that writeup is quite something, ain't it?

When I started to make this design, I wanted to use dark tones from the beginning. Suits the time of the year and in my opinion, this kind of a combination is more stylish than a wild color bonanza. Also, for the past months I've been working on a Playstation 3 title called Okabu, which is very cheery and joyful. So this brought a bit of change to that. If you want to check out Okabu, see here: handcircus.com/okabu - it's going to be released tomorrow!

And here's a bigger view of the design itself!

Have a great day,
Mikko aka mw82

Might it have been Cormac McCarthy's The Road or perhaps George R. Stewart's Earth Abides?

I'm tempted to buy the shirt just for the affective (effective?) write-up!

Well, good freaking morning to you too, Woot! I'll look really good in that shirt while I'm hiding under my covers for the rest of my life.

The write-up has a very Stephen King's The Stand feel to me as well (I'm re-reading it right now after an almost 20 yr hiatus)

I'm not exactly sure of the message this shirt is trying to convey... It's like an emo three-wolf-moon. A 5-raven-skull if you will. What is the point exactly?

I love t6his Graphic Design. As a designer myself, THIS T_SHIRT HITS IT ON THE HEAD.
I HATE BLACK BIRDS,GRACKLES, STARLINGS.
THE CROW IS THE ONLY GOOD BLACKBIRD.
I SHOOT AT ALL THE REST.
I HAVE SHOT 200 TIMES AND NEVER HIT ONE YET, BUT IT IS THE THRILL OF THE HUNT!!!!
THEY CHASE ALL MY GOOD BIRDS OFF.
I WILL WEAR THIS T-SHRT UNTIL MY SKULL IS BLACK....
THANK-YOU WOOT AND THE DESIGNER

Uh, I haven't worked in almost a year, so, if it's a choice between a t-shirt and food for 2 days, I'll take food. Thanks.

What browser (and version) are you using?

Do you have any add-ons that could be causing this?

No special ad-ons I am using chrome 14.0.835.202
Now I am getting ads that have underneath them the link http://shirt.woot.com/sponsorus.aspx and they do not float above the close up. But when I first look (of late) I get some kind of google ad that relates to my other browsing and these float above the close-up. I get a screen capture next time. This just started a few days ago.

You see, the implication is that they are feasting on the remains of a dead person. When things die crows, grackles, ravens, and other various scavanger birds tend to eat those dead things.

My hat is off to you, Sir or Madam Writer. The starkness of your story combined with the touching revelation that despite all they’ve been through the speaker still cares when they see the remains of a single human being…It’s beautiful. Is there any way to get links to your other write-ups? I would love to read more of them.

Why? Forty-two...you see, it doesn't work.

The pics are good, but the story is plain awful, even in the worst case scenario of the earthly apocalypse there is never going to be one single human life gone from earth forgotten by God, if you do not believe in that waking up in the morning just isn't worth it. It is extremely dark and anti success between the lines. Be prepared should be the motto of every person. The darkness swallowing youth in modern days is mind boggling. There are so much good around if you look and want to find it. Focus on spreading good, promoting it and making the world a better place as opposed to plague like scenarios. Sculls and skeletons are so dark and depressing. Nice narrative tough. Talented writer but too dark for my happy days.

Is it weird/twisted that sometimes I actually HOPE for a simpler life, as described in the writeup? o_O
Trick is you have to survive through all the crazy crap that goes down first to GET to that point...

Enslaved: Odyssey to the West was a great videogame, by the way...

Hnmmm. I'm running the same version. It's displayed in a Javascript box. I'm running Java 6 Update 26.
