I actually had a cute one for this, but I fear the hammer of justice from Woot ^^;. I dont think I've seen them allow fart jokes? Even cute ones? I had two ideas for a cute fart joke :D (and yeah, I think 9 out of 10 awkward moments in my life have been gas related :X)

Phew! I wondered if I was the only one!

Ah, it's probably just as well that Woot doesn't go for fart jokes, they can get pretty juvenile and if they let one in it gets hard to draw the line. Wouldn't want any hurt feelings over rejected fart jokes ;D

Also.... does this count as awkward?

Maybe because it was the most embarassing moment of my life, it's the first thing I think of when the topic of awkward or embarassing situations comes up. About 25 years ago, new job, get on the elevator, it's me and one other person... and this was loud, so there was no playing it off. It didn't help that I started to giggle uncontrollably out of sheer embarassment! I still feel embarrassed when I think about it after all these years!

Oh, now you made me think of one of my recent ones. OK, so it's like 6am, one cup of coffee down. And yeah, this is a gym, this stuff happens. But it still wasn't my shining moment when incline situps forced out a bit of gas, with my uber-hot personal trainer looking/listening on. Yeah, draw that.

I say go and let the farts fall where they may. A little juvenile humor is a good thing, especially couched for Woot-viewing in cute little ratties, or somesuch creature. I mean, we have Pooping-Dog for heavens sake. It doesn't get cuter or more juvenile - or lucrative - than a site based entirely on a single poop gag.
Confession - I have a Pooping-dog tee. It's what I wear to paint, dig ditches, etc.

HAHAHA that pooping dog is great!! And alas, Im too afraid to do fart jokes. Even here it seems like it doesnt pass...er, no pun intended. I feel really bad because all my ideas tend towards the potty humor end of things. Art imitates life, at least for me, hahaha. :3

Huh. I've been awkward for, like, forty years. I'm the queen of awkward. And I usually have a ton of Stale Candy ideas to shout out at the community. But for this derby, I got nothing. The best I got is an elevator video monitor laughing at a wedgie-pick.

Wow, that is awkward.

/edit: Ok, Woot, now stop that! A couple of weeks ago you couldn't filter Monster A-Go Go (1965) (s.h.i.t.) - literally. But now you filter l.a.m.e? Well, at least it has some Halloween relevance. dumbasses.

Oh, yeah, bay-bee! I am da-Man. I like the 'comb'-over, but that little drool really sells it. Nice!
/edit: Make the comb-over a real COMB over? It seems a bit awkward in my head, no pun intended, but I'm sure your skill with halftones could make the rubbery comb texture translate to a Stale Candy human-male combover.

Ooo... I'm good at awkward. I like to make crazy dance moves, funny faces or just strike a pose in the hallway when I see someone I know at the far end and the hallway is otherwise empty. Several times I've had my boss's boss walk out of one of the doors in between or find out that they are behind me. You think I'd learn.

Wait, there was the double bubble hippo entry one a little while ago. That's a fart joke, right? Did it get rejected?

On a similar note, I had a sunburn which always wrecks my digestion and in the middle of a date I snuck to the guy's bathroom and farted so loud I could swear there was a flash of light! Not sure that would translate to a tshirt

I find trying on clothes awkward. The whole, does this make me look fat? It does, doesn't it? Yeah, don't think I'll get this...

I think I like keeping the colors subtle. Does anyone see any problems with that? OR should I add a curtain like a dressing room?

Also, I've tried to search out an answer, but real quick: if you submit a derby entry and it doesn't win or get honorable mention, can you then resubmit it as a daily? Or does that fall under not resubmitting?

Thanks for answer/feedback!

They once mistakenly thought a daily I sent in was a derby entry and from that reply I got the feeling that, they are trying to keep the two parts of woot different and separate. So they are not that interested in derby shirts as dailies... though they seem to take an odd one once or twice a year.

Basically you're better off subbing dailies and turning them into derby entries than the other way around.

This actually makes sense. A derby submission that went through the process but didn't win still gets looked at by the editors through the HM process. If they didn't accept it then, and it didn't win in votes, then odds are the masses won't be that interested in it either.

Are there counter examples to this? Probably. I'm not going to try and dig one out of the many thousands of derby entries, however.
