I like this shirt, it definitely has my vote, however, I think it would have looked better if the bunny were a chipmunk or some other small animal that owls go after. I have to agree with others on here that the bunny/reaper combo is getting a little tired.

It must really suck to hate an artist so much and yet have him consistently win, be in the fog or frolic just on the edge of it. How about you shut it, make a better design and push Ram out? Good god, every week I look at the field in these derbies and guess what; Ram's designs are clean, humorous if not over played, and what we expect from him. I don't know if there is a more beat on designer on this site.

The problem I am seeing here is that this design is not awkward in anything but the title.
A turtle on its shell is not awkward, just sad, it’s cute, but it’s not funny enough to be in the top slot.

LOL, well originally it was a mouse, but like with your chipmunk suggestion, the small rodents just look really small on this design. Woot shrinks the girl shirts even more then the guy shirts so I needed an animal that owls could possibly hunt that also wasn't tiny.

I could of used a cat(ha ha ha), but people don't believe owls actually hunt them. I went through a lot of different animals but thought the bunny was the most recognizable from the back, large enough to be seen, and is also an animal owls hunt.

yeah no sh*t its their fault.. where does it say that i cannot put the title of my piece on the detail design. I looked at other derbies before and that's what everyone was doing. They would have text in one but not the other. But i get the reasoning that the images dont match? The web design and user interface of this website has a long way to go. The rules are vague and unclear. I literally had to sit there and read through the forums to find certain specifications simply because during the submission process there is not much info on what i have to upload and what it should or should not have. Maybe it's easy for you to say why can't i figure it out but this is my very first time on this website or overall a website of this kind. So dont give me this "you are stupid" thing.. everyone is different and yes I didn't know how to do it because it doesn't tell anywhere nor do i have any friends on this website who could explain to me what to do. You are a joke to actually take your time to respond to this and defend them and then blame me for messing up...

While I'm not looking for the links woot has printed this idea before, and rejected one that wasn't as close an idea for it already existing. It might be due to the popularity of trees that they were strict.

I underlined the portion most applicable here.

Anyone who's been around the block here knows of his past. But expecting this from him is also promoting him to fall back to the past also.

I don't mind supporting Ramy these days IF I see him progressing outside his "comfort zone", doing different designs and styles, and learning from past mistakes. But to see him back to the turbunguins and grim reaper, and still missing some of the viewer perspectives that other artists have pointed out about his past work ... that I can't support. 10 steps forward ... 8 steps back.

If you don't like Ramyb's designs, then make a better one yourself. As far as i can see, Ramyb's still getting votes so why stop? If something different is what people wanted, then there wouldn't be so many vates for Ramyb's designs. It's called capitalism people.

Not to be too nitpicky, but I think it'd make more sense if the blade was above the owl, not below. The top of a scythe is not bladed, so the reaper would be cutting the owl on the upswing, not the downswing.

I suppose I should give a short explanation about CF. It is a genetic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system. So she (and others with CF) has problems digesting their food. Hence the "elevator blow out" idea! LOL

Sometimes a big fan base does lead to a lot of votes, despite the subject matter.

It's like having Pokemon be made up of only three different kinds, then recycling those species throughout all of their games. :c That wouldn't be fun, no?

Hmmm... the Ramy minions are obviously voting, I wonder why they're not posting their usual fawning defenses of his incredible talent. There's more colors, added a border, different background color and downloadable if you like it. The resolution is 2560x1440 big enough for a 27" iMac.
