I hope a disembodied hand lands on that bread to make a more substantial lunch, because a tomato sandwich? I've got a bad feeling about that.

I'm not familiar with the reference... but the "Engage" on the apron just wins it for me.

By the way, this is a reference to Homer Simpson's climbing of the Murderhorn.

It's an obscure reference, I know, but I love that episode.

MaryESP wrote:Wait, do people really put salt on bacon?

I know this is nitpickish, but now I'm genuinely curious (I grew up in a health-nut family).

I've actually had to put butter (well, butter substitute spread stuff) on bacon lately since the last batch I got is really dry and not providing ample grease of itself.

I feel dirty doing it.

buttering the bacon.

but sometimes it must be done.

Like the cat, the theme- don't like the text a whole lot. Would love to see the shedding cat in the kitchen, sans text.

Okay, I understand the confusion here... This is a parody of the Muppet not because it's supposed to represent the physical puppet (other than the presence of his nonsensical catchphrase), but because it's an actual Swedish chef, hence the Swedish meatball, flag, flag themed clothing, and the pale skin, blonde hair, and blue eyes. If I wanted it to look like the puppet, I would have done that, but if that was the case, I would have just done Link, since he seems to be more popular in the kitchen than Rachel Ray handing out $100 bills.
