Ducks fly north for the winter. Platipi look like ducks in some ways but cant fly. Hence the hang glider.

Re: Not An Aussie

Gotta admit, I'm slightly disappointed to learn from the other comments on this entry that the "true Aussie" dogs aren't supposed to be dingoes... mainly because I was going to make a terrible "dingoes ate my puppy!" joke.

Re: to the sun

The rainbow serpent of aboriginal myths is unleashed by a modern day mining operation. Mining is a large industry in Australia, and I found it interesting (in a tragic sort of way) that aboriginal mythology is deeply rooted in geography.

I was going to call it "one last look at the sun" (the sun being the rainbow serpent's foil), but my wife said that title was super sad and also that I was a depressing jerkface. So uhhh instead I'll call it "to the sun" because, you know, maybe the snake comes back and he and the miners have tea parties forever.

4 colors on brown.

Details of the halftones:

And this part zoomed out again because I think it turned out cool:

Re: Marsupial in my pocket

I like this one, though I wish the shirt color had been Grass Green or Kelly Green instead of Slate.

You use a lot of grey shirt's for your designs Ramyb. I know people will complain about any shirt color... but I have a lot of grey in my shirt pile right now. =P

Anyway thought I'd mention it for the futureeeee....

Here's the problem...without some context, i.e. "The McEucalyptis is back!" the shirt makes little sense.

Cormano wrote:You know your shirt is like completely friggin' invisible right

From more than a few feet away people will just think you're wearing a flesh-colored shirt

After a few washings people will think that even if they're pressed right up against you

I wouldn't say invisible but its supposed to be subtle and was the intention with the soft colors for a wearable design.

Re: Marsupial in my pocket

To all the people having a conniption over this design, I'm starting to think you need to cool your jets and remember... this is just a t-shirt. It's not going to be displayed in the Louvre and it's not going to be the piece of art that defines our generation. You're all acting like someone just took a utility knife to the Mona Lisa! How about this, lets all just take it for what it is and calm down a bit before someone has an aneurysm.

Good question. The shirt's title is obviously pop culture. However, if you look at the shirt itself, there's nothing there that relates to McDonald's. Is the title enough to get it rejected?

Ooh ooh can I be "that guy" and post links to this shirt being done on other sites already?

http://www.amazon.com/Koala-False-Pocket-Print-T-Shirt/dp/B004B5Y2M2

http://www.zazzle.com/aj_koala_in_a_pocket_shirt-235039273354829650

http://www.cafepress.com/kiniart/4028138

It's not really that I think he stole the design or whatever it's just that the concept is so boring and common that cafepress and zazzle both have full pages of shirts dedicated to "animal in pocket" designs.

Re: K.O.ala-ed

I got to be honest, I am jealous of your thought processes. Almost every derby I am thinking, “Well, that is an awesome take.” If you would knock it off I would feel much better about my own creative thinking skills. The random tremendousness is just too much. This will be the first red shirt I will own besides an ugly sweater
