I did a lot of playing with halftone methods this week, and was working on a dragon with multiple transparency layers I converted to halftones.

...what's a penguin, anyway?

In my opinion, the best part of winter (besides all the pretty snow) is snuggling with someone and keeping warm. Y'know, with body heat and stuff. So I bring you both of those things, and also fluffy chickadees. They tend to fluff up in the cold. I dunno if they cuddle like this and shield each other from snow, but hey. CUDDLES. It's dorky, it's cutesy, but it made me smile and I hope it makes you smile too. It should also make the 12-year-old-girl in you squeal in delight.

Six colors on navy. Getting used to working with a limited pallette is... a learning process. I think coloring is the hardest part of this, at least for me. But I think I am steadily getting the hang of the whole thing and hope to subject you to more of my practice in the future. Probably with less cute things and fluffy chickadees next time, but for now, ENDUUUUUUURE.

"Ah, so the wittle bunny wants to be a penguin, eh?"
