This design reminds me of my in-laws. Born in 1905 and 1919, they started skiing in the Sierra before ski lifts - had to hike up the hill. Grandma still loves going to the mountains.

The poem is one of my favorites. I really like the photomanip on the woods, although I do wish you'd done a "scene" shape instead of the boots. I hate to even say anything critical about it because it's so pretty, but I think you'd do better vote-wise if you resubbed it in a vignette shape (even at this point in time).

I have nothing against white, but I do think this version is better. The dark shirt helps the white of the snow pop out more, and the whole image seems more like a dream/reverie when it doesn't blend into the shirt so much. But they are both nice. :-)

The additional trees at the bottom help the overall design a lot, too. It feels more complete here.
