That quite literally took place just today. Although a glitch made it so that the price of this shirt was listed as $10 for the first 20 some odd minutes of the sale.

I used to just automatically buy any shirts that appealed to me.

What the hockey stick (I put that in) is this???... $12.00???? Disappointed, I will never buy a woot shirt again.

I was about to buy this one, thinking "Hey, that's funny and worth one of my Alexander Hamiltons." Then I noticed the price change. It's only an extra two bucks, but somehow it makes me reconsider the impulse buy. Will everybody get it? How much time will I spend explaining this shirt to my non-geek friends? Shouldn't the Ghostbusters be a slightly different color?

I think I'll pass on this round. Cute design though, made me laugh. Keep 'em coming.

Edit: found the little blurb about their prices just going up in general. Way to shoot yourselves in your collective nutbags. I guarantee you're losing money by doing this. No more "Meh, even if I don't wear it, it's only $10," purchases from me. Gogo gadget financial suicide.

Two bucks isn't going to affect my t-shirt buying habits. If I like the design, I'll buy it. So, if this price hike keeps shirt.woot and their awesome tees around I'm all for it.

Was waiting for this.

Before, I could order 3 shirts and get it under the import limit. Now, I can only order 2, unless the exchange rate is low, and I take the risk on that it will stay that way.

So instead of 3*10 + 5 divided on 3, I get 2*12 + 10 divided on 2.

The effective jump pr shirt for me, and many other foreign customers, will then be from 11,66 USD to 17 USD.

Woot have now gone from being a place to find staple shirts I can use at work, to a place I might check out if someone tips me about a extraordinary good shirt.

Sad, but #firstworldproblem. It would been worse if woot ended up using sweatshops to stay floating, so I can's say I am to upset about it.

Shirts that were on the fence at 10 are not off limits at 12. I'll still get the ones that I like but there will be no extras, like the current one. The current one is worth 10 but not 12.

Yyyyeah noticed the price increase right away. Thinking about unsubscribing from the daily email since I'd rather not be tempted with shirts I won't pay that much for. I've never "needed" any of these shirts, but always justified it with the "it's only $10" reasoning. A $1 price hike may have been bearable. $2 seems pretty ambitious, perhaps even presumptuous, Woot.

I wouldn't expect Woot is, but they don't normally print 8-color shirts so I am guessing they're making this shirt a reality to help Raid71 donate more to the RMCC. :^)

$12 these days? It's hard out here for a t-shirt lover.

Woot if you keep using American made shirts I'll pay the +$2,not sure how you kept it at $10 for so long.

First adding tax after being bought out by Amazon and now a $2 increase? The $10 shirt is now $13.05 in NY, at least in my county.

No more on the whim purchases. A 31% increase in the last year and a half.

Come on, woot! Inflation is your excuse? More like, "Parent company Amazon.com has higher profit margin expectations."

If I like the shirt, it won't stop me. I now miss the good ol' days.

Enough with the 8-bit shirts. It comes off like you put in 8-bit effort.

I get the concept, but by far the ugliest shirt I've ever seen on woot.
