Less than 100 entries and it's Friday night. Is that one of the lower entry counts that woot has had in a while?

Haven't followed the submission counts closely enough to say.

I did notice that it's been a while since Patrick did two submissions. I think the last time he had multiples was the "C" derby, which was well over a year ago.

I would have loved to enter, but we're in the middle of moving, baaaah. I also love this theme. I had so many ideas. Stupid move! At least there's a ton of shirts to root for. Really spectacular work.

I have tried one white t-shirt – I got it in a Random T buy. I found it to be too see-through, unfortunately, and I order women’s cuts for a fitted look, so I couldn’t wear it.

Have any other ladies had any luck with ordering a larger size and just going with a looser fit – does this tend to compensate for the problem? Also, do the yellow, baby blue, and cream have the same problem as the white, or do they offer any more coverage?

Current wishlist of shirts to win:

--ELEMENTS OF LIFE
--MARIPOSA
--CASTLE ON A CLOUD(If for no other reason than the song by the same title)

LOSE YOURSELF would make a nice runner up if Castle doesn't make it.

Also it's certainly refreshing to see shirts that aren't on black, or grey ;)

There's a lot of pretty stuff coming out of this derby. However, is there a lot of pretty stuff that makes a great t-shirt? IMHO, not so much. I'm seeing quite a few comments along the lines of "I'd like this as a print", so I can't be the only one thinking along these lines?

I'd love to see some of the more daring/conceptual stuff moving up towards the fog, as I feel like it'd be much more wearable than something that, while pretty enough, also looks like it'd be more at home on the wall of the local Howard Johnson.

I'm not complaining, admittedly they're not all wearable, but it's nice to see so many great t-shirt designs in a derby. I haven't been coming here much lately because every design seemed so unimaginative, especially the ones in the cloud.

I would say that yellow and baby blue are fine. Cream is iffy. But I am fine with it, as I layer a lot.

this is off topic but has anyone else had their designs stolen and if so how do you handle that? a good friend of mine saw my zombie mathematics design being used on shirts at a anime convention in chicago called Acen. i asked him if it was just a likeness and he said it was exactly the same. i doubt these people have a website or anything to find on the net. However i might be going to this event in april and i will be hitting up the shops and looking for it.
atleast my designs are popular with bootlegers haha.

When did you guys add Baby Blue to the list of acceptable shirt colors?

EDIT: evidently it was right before derby start. blech.

There's definitely a lot of pretty stuff in this derby, but the large designs (lack of stretch across the bust) and the sheer light colors make most of these shirts unwearable for me in women's sizing. I suppose there's always the option to go with oversized shirts for sleeping.

I can honestly say that this is my favourite Derby of 2012. So many good ones; I'm almost certain I'll buy something this week.

I don't usually have much to say, so words from me mean you're doing something very right.

Lots of beautiful submissions this time. I really love all the designs that are currently in the fog. Though I probably couldn't wear Blossom or Painted Tyger.

My favorite is definitely "Coming Alive".

I would have loved a good Design on Baby Blue. It should have been announced from the beginning...

So, I've been burned by cache fail before but, am I right that there are NO rejections. On Sunday. Evening? Really? None? If my browser isn't betraying me, either the rejectionator is in a coma or this is some kind of record.

I just want to say I really love that shirt.woot is giving artists a chance to make artistic shirts that aren't lulzy or meme based or pop culture references, and for buyers to vote on them. I love those shirts, too; goodness knows I have more than a few of them. However I feel it's important to have a balance, too.

+1 for you, shirt.woot

What a disappointment. I was so hoping for something different, something elegant. I am only a consumer and not an artist and lord knows I am constantly taken aback by what sells and what doesn't. Still a few days left, so I will keep looking. Come on guys, does it have to tell a story? Can't it be just a beautiful design?

Came here to say something similar. I am a larger lady and the placement of most of these designs just would not work for me. Plus the whole white shirt issue.

But good job on all the pretty designs guys, I love it. Maybe if the woot staff would have allowed a gray or something :/

Dang, this is by far one of the best derbies in a looooooong time. It's so nice to see actual artwork up here instead of the endless parade of pop-culture cuteness. I'm pretty sure this weekend will end up being the first time I've bought a shirt here in months.

I'm still impressed. Only three rejections as of now for either no template or ppo-culture. I really expected to see scads of 'this is unprintable'. Very, very impressed.

Dear Woot,

I haven't been a member for very long, but this is the best derby I've seen to date. Thanks for thinking of it!

Sincerely,

so many awesome designs but i know i'd end up never wearing anything on white or cream. it's too bad that blue was added so late and the artists didn't really have time to work with it.

Best derby in a looooooooong time. I might actually buy something!

It's weird how the theme just completely negated any chance of the same old cutesy designs being in the top.
